131 years of wine making excellence, paired with seriously good food. Showcasing freshly picked produce from our kitchen garden and pantry preserves, accompanied by premium local suppliers and sustainably sourced native produce, meats and seafood.

Our seasonal menu caters for light lunches, shared feasts with friends and family, or a 5-course wine and food experience.

Full table service either inside or outside, bookings are essential as tables are in high demand.

    Our weekly changing set menu is served share style across 9 savoury plates, with the option to add dessert &/or cheese to finish Dietary requirements can be accommodated for with prior notice, no prior notice may mean guests are unable to partake in all dishes presented on the day. Children under 12 may join us for a set menu including a snack, a choice of mains & a house made ice cream sundae $35.00 Please let us know in the notes section of your bookings how many children will be joining you in your lunch reservation. As this is a set menu, PLEASE NOTE: unfortunately, dietary requirements can not be catered to in this experience. Featuring a showcase of our finest restaurant offerings straight from the Kitchen Garden to your plate, sit back and relax as you feast upon an exclusive seasonal menu designed by Head Chef Bodee Price.     This is our second time attending the lunch in the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experimentation of the chef with the nasturtium flowers. However, the main courses could have been smaller and add a dessert.

    We had the 3 course lunch paired with wines. Food and wines were excellent. Service to our table of 2 was slow in between courses. The paired wine was served and the meals didn't arrive until 30 minutes later. This happen for each course. Tables that arrived after us finished their lunch earlier.

    We absolutely loved the variety of foods/flavours presented to us during the three course/nine dish share menu. The service was friendly & efficient and we appreciate the beautiful atmosphere of the dining room and outlook to the gardens. A beautiful lunch and good value.

    We have been ocassional visitors to this restaurant over a number of years. It remains one of the few destinations that not only has remained as good when we first discovered it, it retains a vibrancy to its menues that makes us look forward to the next time. The staff of course play a vital part in the overall experience. Wish we lived closer.

    We had the 9 course set lunch. It consisted of the perfect amount of food and it was delicious. Lots of the veggies were home grown! The serving staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend for a beautiful long lunch.

    The food was amazing and the best part of the day was Steve in the Cellar Door. His service was impeccable. His knowledge is second to none. He has been there 39 years and a real treasure to the business

    Having just returned from three months in Europe, our recent visit to Brown Brothers confirmed with us that their chefs, service staff and wines are world class. The only negative was the ambient noise level. The room is very live and we unfortunately had a number of very noisy tables around us. The noise turned a 10 into a 7.

    Put simply, there is no finer restaurant in the district. The current chef and front of house staff are outstanding. We had lunch there and the dining experience was flawless. Every dish, the matched wines, the service - impeccable. Thoroughly recommended as a highlight of any visit to the area.

    Highly recommend the slow lunch selection. Everything is out in perfect timing so you are not feeling very full and have the chance to try everything. The staff describes the food and why they pair that certain wine with the food. The is absolutely amazing. My partner isn't one for seafood and once we had explained that to the staff, they catered to him and gave him alternatives and he highly enjoyed it.
