I was recommended to visit Bistro38 by someonein England. I was not at all disappointed. The mussells were to die foe. Beautiful. The steak was very good. My wife had lamb chops which were beautifully cooked. Her main were the short ribs. Thankfully she was too full to finish. I being a gentleman assisted and they were so tender and fantastic tasting. A bottle of La Porta Malbec helped to washed dinner down very nicely. It was my birthday and a very good finish to a busy day sightseeing. Would I come back. Most definitely. Would I highly recommend others to visit. Yes I certainly do.

Wonderful atmosphere and food! Our server Oliver was amazing and very engaging! The drinks were also phenomenal. It was a perfect dining experience in NYC!

Bstro38 is a lovely family restaurant hidden in the middle of midtown. I was a running a few minutes late and and they called to check I was still coming and they give a 15min grace period which is kind. We had a lovely booth table upstairs. The food was wonderful, I have a shellfish allergy and the restaurant checked made sure what I ordered was safe and also gave me options. I was celebrating with friends who I hadn’t seen for years and we were not rushed to leave our table so spent the evening there. Such a special restaurant. We will definitely return. Thank you for looking after us.
