Our dining experience at Buca di Beppo - Arrowhead was far from enjoyable. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that customer service was not a priority. We could hear the waitstaff talking loudly about personal matters, laughing, and yelling across the restaurant while ignoring the front door. We stood there waiting behind another group who had been there even longer. It wasn’t until I popped my head out and made eye contact with someone that the hostess finally walked across the restaurant to seat us. The food itself was a disappointment. I ordered the penne alla vodka, and the noodles were overcooked with barely any sauce. When I asked for more sauce, it took over 10 minutes to arrive, by which time I had already lost interest in finishing my meal. The only redeeming aspects of the evening were the antipasto salad, which was delicious, and the waitress, who was friendly (though not particularly attentive). Overall, this experience was far below what I expect from a restaurant, especially one with Buca di Beppo’s reputation. I won’t be returning to this location anytime soon.

Our servers were wonderful and go above and beyond! Shelby and Laura were amazing mother daughter duo killing it. Especially since we had such a large party! The food was great and never had a empty drink or dish in front of us. Would go here again just to get them

This was the worse meal I have ever eaten. The bill was over $500 and the food was tasteless and of poor quality. I've gone to Bucca di Beppo several times in san Diego and I've used their catering services for corporate events. I've never had any complaints. However this was the worse food me and my family has ever eaten. Everything was bland and tasteless. The chicken tasted like it was boiled with no flavor. The sauces had no flavor much less any Italian seasonings. It was very disappointing and for the money spent it should have been better. I tried to contact them but their website wouldn't take the information. They obviously don't want to have any negative reviews. I will say the waiter was good and tried his best. It wasn't his fault so we still gave him a 20% tip. Unfortunately, the kitchen team needs to go back to culinary school or at least learn now the make the Bucca di Beppo recipes . After this experience I'm not sure if I will ever go there or use them for any corporate event.

he check in was the only positive part of the experience. The two young ladies greeting everyone were pleasant and positive and made us feel welcome. Then things went downhill fast. We were seated and then got to wait for over ten minutes before we were contacted by our waiter. The hostess that seated us had given us our menus, so when we were finally contacted (I say contacted not greeted because we never did get out server's name and were never told hello or welcome to the restaurant) we were ready to order. We gave him our drink order and offered our dinner order, but he cut us off and said he would take it when he got back. When he returned with drinks, not what we ordered we told him the drinks were not correct and he started to walk away "to get out drinks". I stopped him (yes I was still polite and was hoping our experience would improve) and asked that he take our order, which he did. Our drinks arrived a little over 5 minutes later and our meal showed up about ten minutes after that. What hadn't come before the entrees was our appetizer, garlic bread. When we mentioned the shortage, our server said he would get it for us. (He was rather surly at this time and didn't appear to be happy about having to fix the oversight). Another individual delivered a poor excuse for garlic bread to the table. The bread was not toasted, merely dried and there was a splash of what could have been melted butter on it. I asked the server, when he came back by, to return the garlic bread and that we no longer wanted it. I also told him that our Chicken Marsala was cold in the center and that it was unacceptable. I asked for the manager. After we waited 15 minutes the manager approached our table and asked us in an offensive tone "What is your problem here"? It continued downhill from there and needless to say, I probably won't go back for a while. Much more to share, but no more room here.
