Housed within Saks Fifth Avenue at Chinook Centre, Buffo celebrates the simplicity and generosity of Italian cooking. The Buffo menu features timeless classics showcasing quality ingredients, from soul-satisfying pizzas and handmade pastas, to local meats and seafood.     We got there at 2:30pm in a Friday. It took about 15 minutes to get a menu. Our seat was pointed out instead of us being shown( I think this was due to being understaffed). The waiter was nice, a gentleman. The meal was nice for the price but the plating was not well done. I ordered theee kids French fries and chicken fingers and it was brought without Ketchup. Generally, it was a fair service , fair meal.

    They kept mixing our orders up, we had to keep asking for cutlery and for side plates, calamari showed that the greaser fried needs to be cleaned very badly, brusetta is better from a grocery store. Apple pie was super small super dry and the coating from the cast iron pan was stuck to it, Tiramisu was dry and almost gelatin like. We kept having to ask for a box for my daughter’s leftover pizza. They had us in a back room and I think kept forgetting about us. Last time we went tiramisu was really good so I think it was just old this time.

    A neighbourhood gem. We love visiting Buffo and try to go once a week. The staff are lovely and the food is excellent!

    Excellent all around. Very considerate with my gluten free allergy. The service was very good and they didn’t mind that we sat around and chatted long after we finished and paid.

    Food is actually pretty good on the server was great but the length of time to get your food is way too long and this is my experience from this restaurant every time. Also the wine selections are something that you would get at Denny’s just saying – – for an Italian restaurant they need to improve the selections and not have overpriced bottles of wine on 50% off that are mediocre choices – – at least have something reasonable

    Excellent service made the date a success. Thank you. It wasn’t her first visit to the restaurant, but we enjoyed trying new things. Will be back!
