Bungalow Downtown Dining is a collection of intimate spaces with multiple dining areas offering a host of options tailored to our guests' specific needs. Guests can choose from a vibrant and high energy bar that features a variety of luxurious libations, a beautiful dining room with gold accents and plush velvets booths, multiple private dining spaces as well as our state of the art roof top patio with downtown views. Bungalow's menus offers numerous options to suit almost any dining experience or preference. Our steaks are offered in small and large cuts, and side dishes are designed to please everyone at the table. The appetizer selections feature items that are a great beginning to dinner and can be enjoyed with your favorite libation from our wine or craft cocktail menu.

Food was great! Our server was amazing! I’d have given it a 5 star but our table wasn’t ready at the time of the reservation, the restaurant was full and there were other parties also waiting to be seated. We stood there about 30 minutes, while we were waiting there was an altercation between two ladies, which at first made me regret choosing this restaurant, with that said ( I understand it didn’t have anything to do with the staff,)…I’m GLAD we didn’t leave. Food, drinks and service were great. I’d definitely go again.

This is one of the best steakhouse we have been to in Houston. The service was amazing, Jan’ee, our waitress, was awesome, and I will ask for her the next time we visit this restaurant. The food came in perfect timing and temperature. The flavors were unbelievably good and fresh. Everyone made you feel welcome. I strongly recommend this restaurant. They only comment/complain we have is that we needed to change the time of our reservation and it took us several calls and emails for someone to respond to our request.

Everything was amazing, our waiter Brittany was very informational, she suggested the snapper which was to die for, cream corn and The apricot chicken all absolutely amazing. I’m was very impressed especially since I heard others say it wasn’t that good so I wanted to try it for myself and I’m glad I did.

Pros: •Warm welcome with complimentary champagne upon arrival. •The food was delicious, and the presentation was on point. •The aesthetic of the environment was beautiful—great decor and ambiance. Cons: •Our reservation was for 8 PM, but we weren’t seated until almost 9 PM. This delay was frustrating, especially since we booked through OpenTable and were under the impression we had a regular table—not a rooftop experience where appetizers aren’t available. It seemed they might have been overbooked. •Once seated, our service experience was disappointing. Drinks took over 20+ minutes to arrive, and when they did, our martinis were served in flight-sized glasses, only half-filled and not in proper martini glasses. The waiter said it was because the glasses were dirty but we then watch the table next to us receive drinks in the proper glasses. •One friend ordered a specialty cocktail that should have had a unique presentation (being lit on fire). The waiter didn’t light it until he heard us talking about, although we saw him light other tables’ drinks right away. Her garish had 2 stickers on it as well (a dried orange). Overall, while the initial welcome was lovely and the food was great, the service left much to be desired.

The food was FANTASTIC. BUT was the service and food $300 FANTASTIC??? Unfortunately, no. The service was really slow and it took a long time to receive attention throughout the meal. The food did taste great. There was only two of us. One alcoholic drink, one appetizer, two entrees.
