Burma (modern day Myanmar) is the Northernmost country of Southeast Asia and is bordered by China, Laos, Thailand, Bangladesh, and India.

With these shared borders, there are countless differences that set out to divide cultures and people. However, with it also comes an influence of rich culture, tradition, flavors, and one universal language… food.

Made up of 135 different ethnic groups, each with its own culture, language and history, a whisper of intrigue surrounds Burma, a melting pot of cultures, and flavors.

Burmese cuisine is influenced by Ingredients and spices of surrounding countries, but the way in which those ingredients are used is what makes Burmese cuisine so unique.

I’ve been to this location of Burma Love for both dinner and now lunch, and it’s a beautiful setting for either. Prefix lunch menu is obviously a far better deal at $29. Food is delicious. My favorite dishes are tea leaf salad and garlic eggplant with extra prawns. Their samosa soup is great, too. Service is good and fast but not very personable. I’ll definitely be back and introduce my other friends to Burma Love, which I am so glad that I no longer have to go SF to enjoy anymore.

I felt $29 for a prix fixe lunch was high. The main was the only very good tasting item; the appetizers (potato samosa and tofu spring roll were marginal). I would not return Service was basic.

First time trying this place out and it beat our expectations. We had the deviled eggs, coconut rice, fiery chicken and curry chicken which were all excellent. Highly recommend this place and look forward to going back

The meal was outstanding, great flavors, textures, beautifully presented. The tea leaf salad, roti platha, an amazing lamb dish, great noodles, fabulous green beans and deviled eggs. Drinks were tasty and attractive.

A lovely spot that will now be one of my usual spots. Everything we ordered was fabulous from dishes to drinks. The Orwell martini (espresso martini) was so good. Nick, our server, was attentive but not disruptive to our conversation.
