Birthday meal on a weekend visit to Glasgow. Food and ambience great, the pork cheek and prawn starter was delicious as was the chateaubriand. Marked down as tables for 2 are too small to cater for all dishes of mains, sides, sauces, wine and water. Didn’t help that we were also seated in a corner so no elbow room and felt cramped which did detract from our enjoyment.

worst steakhouse ever small tables crammed in to fit as many as possible waited 1 hour for food after ordering select cut fillet on bone was raw in middle cooked on outside chips were hard not cooked proper for £140 i would expect better food and better service complained to manager and his reply was i will pass your feedback onto chef 😂😂

Food excellent as usual. Service from staff fabulous Only fault would say that tables of 2 are extremely close to each other. It’s very cramped. Very little privacy

Had a great dinner at The Butchershop. Took advantage of their Tomahawk Thursday deal which was very nice and good value in our opinion. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and if we had one slight negative it was that we felt things were a little rushed and there was not much time at all between courses. A few more minutes between finishing starters and the mains arriving would have been welcome.

Welcomed and a nice gesture with a birthday card. Excellent service and food quality was excellent. Attentive staff checking regularly if all was well

Superb food served by friendly and attentive staff. The service was exceptional from the manager who was very accommodating when my guest was late and from the waiting staff when I accidentally spilled a glass of wine - it was replaced immediately!
