   As always, we were not disappointed! Our smoked old fashions were delicious - we had refills!!! Christopher gave us excellent service. My only criticism is the ribs were a touch dry - have NEVER experienced that so think it was just one of those things! Can’t wait to come back!!!

   Great menu variety. Plan for tapas and sharing style. Orders were nicely sequenced and the treatment of vegetable dishes and smoked meats was great. Lots of surprising taste combinations all along the way. Save room for dessert, especially molten chocolate cake with brûléed fluff on top. New go-to spot in Asheville.

   Always a great experience — server was knowledgeable and kind, food was incredible. I love the evident teamwork on the service floor; many different folks ran food or cleared dishes for us.

   Somehow I hadn't been there for two years, and was delighted to find it just as wonderful as ever! It truly ranks within one of the top five restaurants in town!! Guided by our excellent server, three of us shared: tuna tataki; pork belly bao; wagyu beef; grilled baby bok choy; short ribs; and the always fabulous sweet potato. Followed it up with coocnut cake and an amazing sweet miso pie with bananas. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. We intend to go back and try one of the larger smokehouse items ...    The service and staff are Five Stars But the Sashimi that was served, was far below High Quality. The Wagyu steak, which as not Wagyu It was disappointing, except for their exceptional staff

   Overall it was a less than stellar experience. The food was amazing as always but the service was unfortunate. The primary server might have been new or overwhelmed. She was apologetic and very respectful when the issue was brought up. The food and drink runners were fantastic. Julian, the manager, was also fantastic. I will definitely continue to recommend this restaurant to family and friends.
