    I planned a last minute birthday plan at Byblos, and the manager and servers were amazing. Not only did they accommodate to the 9 of us, They let us take as many pictures and did not rush us out to leave, although they were closing. Definitely going back and recommending them to anyone who wants to go and have a good time.

    The byblos is a gem of its own. The design and layout of the place is comfortable and elegant. For the food we had the octopus, eastern fried chicken and the black truffle and cheese. I'm not one for octopus but that was flavourful and little crispy, I enjoyed it. The fried chicken was crispy and not oily and came with a really nice spicy pomegranate sauce. The truffle and cheese was so good it maybe best to order 1 for each person. Also highly recommend the Ankara elixir for those who like the espresso martini, not with food, as an after meal drink.

    Our server was very nice but not able to attend to us as often as one would hope because it looked like there were only two people on the floor. The food was good - I would say my experience at Byblos downtown was a bit more enjoyable - the food seemed more authentic. The noise level left a lot to be desired - it got louder as the evening went on and the lighting was a bit too bright.

    Loved the pide and beets. The jewelry rice was so fragrant! Branzino was excellent and perfectly cooked. Also the pomegranate sherbet was memorable and husband, an ice cream connoisseur, loved the honey ice cream.

    Great food. Restaurant needs abit of a clean up. Rugs really tatty. Would go again though for the food.
