Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients.

Proper attire required. The following are not allowed:

undershirt type t-shirts
sweat pants and jogging pants
athletic shorts
clothing with inappropriate graphics
clothing that is overly exposing
midriff tops
shorts that are too short

Winston was our server and he was fabulous! The ambience and the experience at this restaurant was absolutely perfect. We were there to celebrate my mom‘s birthday, and she truly enjoyed herself. Winston went above and beyond with his service to make sure that she enjoyed her birthday. The food was outstanding! I will definitely be back!

We enjoyed everything about the restaurant. From the valet to the hostesses. The service (Q and Reggie) were excellent and attentive. Our appetizers and entrees were delicious! Definitely a place for special occasions!

I made up a lunch due to cravings of a grilled lobster tail and Brussel sprouts - so delicious! That was the best grilled lobster I have ever put in my mouth! I should have taken a picture of it because it was beautifully presented as well. Dillon and Winston helped us, and they are terrific, as always.
