It was great! Drinks were good, loved the special cocktails for Valentine’s Day. Our server and host treated us very kindly and served us promptly. I’d come here again!

We had dinner plans on Valentine’s Day and we’re looking forward to going and having a nice dinner. Our dinner date started off very well and our server Brandon was professional, attentive and friendly. We ordered an appetizer which was delicious, and put our main course in. Salads arrived first, which by the way were amazing but that’s when it went down hill. After waiting 15 minutes or so we were informed that they ran out of the lamb. I fully understand the process of how restaurants prepare only so much for waste purposes but it doesn’t excuse that we had reservations for a specific menu on that day. My suggestion moving forward to alleviate patrons going home hungry would be to preorder your dinner selection along with the reservation. We left hungry, disappointed as this experience was our first time dining at Cadence. As a man on Valentine’s Day it was embarrassing as I tried to plan a special evening out. I am writing this review to provide feedback not in a negative way but to eliminate these types of problems in the future.

We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time, but it allowed us time to experience the great bar, drink selections and “top shelf” bartenders-particularly Bradley Zimmerman (lead bartender)- who made us Benton old fashions, spicy margaritas and Fallen Apple martinis. All were outstanding! Dinner was amazing, in part due to our very personable and fantastic waitress Kendall. Can’t say enough of this young lady. Very attentive although it was busy. She was knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us to our delicious selections- crab cakes, Caesar salads, Filet Thermidor and Chicken Rosé. Kudos to the kitchen! Mad props to this staff who made this Valentine Day experience one of the best ever! We will be back AND bringing friends every chance we get.

We were lucky to get a reservation on Valentines night. So, we were happy and pleasantly surprised when we arrived. There was a very large parking lot right across the street and we utilize it. There was a dedicated elevator for the restaurant alone. The hostess did everything to get us seated as quickly as possible, and we found ourselves in the Phoenix room. We love the ambience there and the fact that tables were well spaced, and despite of being Valentine’s Day, it was not jampacked. I think that was by design. But as this restaurant seeks its niche in Pittsburgh cuisine, I think it will grow in popularity because it is that good.

Has a nice vibe. Service and food were excellent. The menu is a bit limited but I liked the choices.

Limited Valentines entree menu was overpriced. Ended up ordering a couple of sandwiches instead.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. We went for our Valentine’s Day celebration. The staff was courteous, quick, and helpful. The atmosphere of a speakeasy was spot on and simply amazing. The food was not only delicious, but in a decent price range. I would certainly come back again and would recommend this to anyone.

We booked for a Saturday brunch and were so disappointed when we got there when we were told they were no longer having brunch. The food was just okay. Service was great and our waitress was wonderful!

We came here for our anniversary and the vibes were amazing! Our server, Alaina, was on top of everything. The drinks were really good. We got an old-fashioned and the drink called flight risk. Our appetizers were good. We got the onion dip and then meatballs and peppers. They weren’t obsessed with them, but then we ordered steaks as our entrée which made up for it! Will definitely come back.
