The appetizers; French Onion Soup and Escargots were very good. The entrees were ok, the steak & frites was good, steak was but not very tender, the fries were great and the Béarnaise Sauce too thick and lumpy. The salmon was a bit under cook. Very nice wine and the service was very good.

Previous reviews convinced us to try this on our trip to Miami and we were not disappointed! Some of the best Escargot that I have ever eaten and all of the food was excellent. Great service and reasonable prices. Anyone able to get to the downtown Miami area should give this restaurant a try!

Several menu items were not available the night we had dinner there! The explanation was that the menu was brand new that morning. The food purveyor did not have time to deliver supplies. Sorry, thats a poor excuse, show the owners and chief just weren’t ready for the new menu!

Since the new owners took over, this place has completely changed! The food is delicious and the service very attentive. We had a great time, in a cosy place and very friendly staff. Will definitely go back more often.

Cafe Bastille is a nice little restaurant in Downtown Miami. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the new owners. As appetizers we had beets with green beans and blue cheese, and also lentil soup. Then fillet mignon and salmon with lentils. Side order of french fries. All dishes were excellent, service was great. Wine was a decently priced Saint Julien 2012. We spend a great evening at Cafe Bastille.

Nice service, nice little cafe dinner spot. Unfortunately the least french french restaurant. Food was ok and not very french. Would not go back.
