With roots tracing back to the 1970s, The Chalkboard brings its modern bistro-style concept to Oklahoma City, offering American fare and artisanal cocktails. Don't miss the chance to savor our legendary Beef Wellington, prepared according to the original recipe that has stood the test of time.

The Chalkboard is located in Oklahoma City's Midtown District, open 365 days a year. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. We can accommodate most dietary needs. All guests of The Chalkboard can take advantage of complimentary valet-service at the hotel entrance.

Our server was kind of rude. I thought maybe she was just awkward or maybe new, but she treated the couple who got seated next to us like best buddies. The starter they threw at us were some cold, bland chicken legs I think they were just trying to get rid of before they expired. The food was meh, my duck was super fatty, but my partners gnocchi was just okay. Definitely will not be coming back.

This was the best meal we have ever had at a restaurant! From drinks to the food, my husband and I loved it all! We got a bottle of their house Cabernet Sauvignon, “society”, and it was spectacular. For food we ordered escargot, The Chalkboard beef wellington, and the bread pudding for dessert. Everything was DELICIOUS! Plus, our server, Erika, was wonderful and very helpful. 1000% recommend! 🤩

My husband and I had a date night at Chalkboard. We enjoyed the atmosphere, great serving staff and all the food was excellent!

Wellington was very good as were the other items we ordered. Very good food and service. They offer valet parking which it’s important in that location. Shout out to the manager for finding space for us after I messed up our reservation on Open Table!

Wasn’t happy being seated in the overflow area instead of actual restaurant. Booked a month in advance. Would’ve like to have known that before hand. Food was ok but the ambience and vibe just seemed like I was in a hotel area where continental breakfast is served. Didn’t care for my drink either. Salmon was so so. Little cold in middle. Steak was little rare. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. For the price just wasn’t worth it compared to other places.

Service was great. We were seated promptly and were checked on throughout our lunch. Server Hannah did a great job!!!!

Restaurant was very nice, Service was exceptional. Food wasn’t bad but I’ve had better food at the Heart Hospital. Again, the food wasn’t bad but if the price tag is $100 for two the food better be great. We the Wellington beef bites that had absolutely no flavor at all, we had the short rib that had great texture but little no flavor, same goes for the veggies it came with. French onion soup was pretty but I can think of a dozen places with better onion soup for half the price. Nice restaurant, nice staff, nice drinks but I likely won’t be back for dinner
