Well we started off with the oysters Rockefeller which was the best I've had in a while. I've noticed over the last year or so it's been tough to get really nice what I call deep oysters in other words for the shell is kind of deep so that way you have a nice large at this time they were spot on. Sharon ordered the onion soup which she thought was a little bit on the salty side. I tasted it it was just a tad salty but it was still fine. Richard had the cauliflower which was excellent, little bit of spice but that's what made it fine. Sharon had the dragon Maki, which was excellent. I had the Chateaubriand for one it was excellent as always. Richard had the rack of lamb for one, same thing. We had the side of creamed spinach I ate very little of it so it's actually here at the house now for lunch. Our waitress, Melissa was good she was kind of stretched out a little bit because she was one of the only one or two that were up there, so it was pretty busy. Overall though she handled it well. It was quite busy because there were a lot of big tables in the upstairs dining room. a Lot of the holiday parties are going full bore. Another excellent meal overall at Cafe escadrille請問這對你有幫助嗎?

A bad Thanksgiving dining experience! I and my family have been dining at Cafe Escadrille for over 25 years. We typically go there when it is a special occasion - such as birthdays or anniversaries because the food, ambiance and service has always been great. So when I reserved a table for my family (5 people) for Thanksgiving, we expected a similar experience - unfortunately not so. When we arrived on Thanksgiving, the restaurant was about 75% full, and bustling. After checking in, we were walked through the entire restaurant and out into a 'banquet' wing and then into a large - say 40 ft by 40 ft room, with cream colored walls - nothing on the walls, no pictures, no curtains, just plain - 4 walls, 12 ft. high ceilings and tile floors. we were seated at a round table that was for 8 people, so that meant that my son, who was across from me was 4 to 5 feet away. Usually not an issue except that the noise level in that room was deafening. There was a group of 15 on one wall, a group of 20 along the other wall, and in between tables of 8 - 10 people each. Only my wife and daughter in law could chat since they were sitting next to each other. So I went back to the hostess and asked why we were herded back to this banquet room of large groups her response was 'We are seating all large groups in that room. I responded by saying - but we only are 5 people - to which she replied - that's what the manager has told us to do. At this point I was so upset I decided to go back to our table and suck it up - so as not to cause a scene with a mgr., since I had past a few tables for 6 with people seated and a few tables for 4 or 6 that were empty in the restaurant part as I walked through. So we decided to make the best of a plain banquet hall dinner, with noise so loud we could not hear each other-since none of us had to cook or do dishes. Oh - one more thing, 2/3rds through the meal the fire alarms went off - for about 10 minutes. The only good part - our waiter was excellent!請問這對你有幫助嗎?

They were a little slow on the service but honestly, for Thanksgiving they serve so many people and keep such a positive attitude, I can't really hold it against them. Food quality is always good, and although our Thanksgiving Turkey dinners cost $55, we got 2 meals out of each. They always deliver.請問這對你有幫助嗎?

Very busy at Thanksgiving. However, we were seated as soon as our table was ready and in one of the quietest rooms which was nice. Prime rib was delicious and turkey dinner was good. Quantities were plentiful but mashed potatoes were basically tasteless and fries not hot. The fact that it was a holiday and busy, things are bound to not be perfect, so taking that into consideration, we would definitely return.請問這對你有幫助嗎?

I always order the same thing.. perfect pair with scallops and normally it is "perfect". Today the medium rare steak was a bit overcooked.. the waitress graciously took it back and while I did not complain, it was 'THE SAME" as the first.. a bit more on the medium side than the rare. Not s juicy at all. I did not complain but will make sure I specify the next time it should be "juicy" and not so well done around the perimeter. Everything else was great.請問這對你有幫助嗎?

Reputation did not disappoint. Great menu selections and the taste was incredible. Make a reservation on line to ensure you do not have to wait. Drinks also not “watered down” they were spot on! Bravo!請問這對你有幫助嗎?
