A forum for Lincoln Center’s performing arts culture for nearly 30 years, Café Fiorello features a sprawling bar filled with more than 50 kinds of antipasti. Finished in warm wood, brass and mirrors, the main dining room suggests a timeless charm. In addition to the hot and cold antipasto specialties of vegetables and seafood, the menu features updated Italian classics and specialty dishes, as well as a selection of seafood, steak, veal & pasta.

The food was very good -- the ingredients were fresh and of excellent quality, and the prices were high, but you don't usually get food this good at low prices. One caveat: If you're expecting traditional dishes, while some, like my strozzapreti pesto pasta were traditionally prepared, the ravioli stuffed with burrata were open at the top, more wrapped around the filling than encasing it, and in the tartufo the ice cream was covered in chocolate bits rather than by a chocolate outer layer, with only one cherry in the large serving (large enough for two to split for dessert). Not to complain -- both dishes were delicious, just not what some diners expecting traditional Italian food would expect. One complaint is that diners are squeezed into very small spaces, and waiters have a difficult time navigating the extremely narrow aisles between tables. The crowding would be the only reason we might think twice about choosing this restaurant over a number of excellent others in the neighborhood.

In the 25 years that we've been going to Cafe Fiorello, typically post-Lincoln Center, not once have we been disappointed. It is always a lovely, uplifting experience.

The service was very good. The food delicious. My son had the veal parmigiana, my husband chicken piccata and I had the lamb chops. We also had the chocolate mouse dessert and the profiteroles dessert. We loved it!

We have been to Cafe Fiorello a few times, as it is a great spot to have dinner before going to the opera across the street. I love the atmosphere and the food is good for a reasonable price. The night in question was very busy, and our waiter took a great deal of time to even get us some water, and he also forgot to put the birthday candle we asked for on the dessert we ordered (for that purpose!). But it was a very busy night and he was trying...

We’ve been eating here for more than 40 years. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly, attentive and efficient. Can’t beat the location if you are going to a performance at Lincoln Center.

Great service and quiet booth. Butternut squash lasagne was undercooked, not as good as last time but your meatballs were fabulous as usual , moist and delicious!
