COMING TO CAFÉ SPICE NAMASTÉ FROM GALLIONS REACH DLR STATION As you exit the station, turn left at Co-Op walk up to the traffic lights turn right on to Gallions Road. Turn left on to Wallis Walk and right on to Shackleton Way then immediate right towards car park on to Hudson Way. You will see a footbridge at the front. We are exactly across the bridge. The walk should take approximately 4-5 minutes. The Elizabeth Line is now open, making West London feel a lot closer to the Royal Docks. Getting off at Custom House and taking the DLR to Gallions Reach can take between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on where you board. Cyrus Todiwala, the renowned chef, author, and broadcaster, is hosting a dinner at Cafe Spice Namaste in London’s Docklands to raise funds as part of the 2025 Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch. The funds raised will support veterans of His Majesty’s Armed Forces in finding employment. Cyrus, along with Michelin-starred chef Daniel Galmiche and chef Gary Hunter, will prepare a multi-course feast featuring their favourites, accompanied by outstanding wines from Portugal. Limited seats are available, and tickets are just £95, which includes a bubbly reception and dinner with wines. Other drinks and service charges are not included.

The best bits about this meal were : the Maitre de - she was very welcoming and helpful, the starters and desert. We would have preferred it if the spice levels were dialled up to traditional Indian taste buds.

It's a short walk from Gallions Reach. We arrived early but were most welcome. We had a fantastic unhurried meal. Enjoyed the great views of the city and the airport. The service was excellent and the food was fabulous. A great evening overall.

Great restaurant and service. The food is delicious and location is great. Can be tricky to find so put Shackleton Way in the google maps.

Second time, certainly will not be the last. The service and food was superb. Mr and Mrs Todiwala served / came and saw us and it was just a lovely evening..recommend it to everyone...

We went to Cafe Spice Namaste for our wedding anniversary. It was a the perfect evening out. We opted for the 8 course tasting menu and we were not a bit disappointment with any of the courses. The food was so tasty and full of flavour without being spicy hot - just perfect flavours. And the cocktails were great too! Cyrus and Pervin both came over to our table several times during the evening which was a lovely touch. The staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely look forward to visiting again and trying other dishes on the menu, whilst we taking in the wonderful views. Once again thank you for making our anniversary so special.

We really enjoyed our lunch today. We felt welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant, service was brilliant. And the food was sublime, thank you very much for an enjoyable birthday treat.

We had a great experience at Cafe Spice. The service was very personal and friendly with recommendations provided on the menu items. Food was delivered quite quickly and more dishes could be ordered as needed. Some items were a little different to the traditional presentation - e.g. chicken tikka was not the typical cubes of chicken in a very orange hue. Cyrus was coordinating things in the kitchen and took time to come and chat with all diners towards the end of the evening.

Was looking forward to coming here after finding out they had reopened. Had previously enjoyed dining there when it was in Aldgate. Unfortunately the place seems to have taken a turn for the worse. The menu is tapas-style now. Dishes are still tasty but some of the higher priced sharing bowls are not even enough for 1 let alone 2. They won’t do a plain naan, only garlic or peshwari. The fact they refused made it feel like the naan is pre-made and not fresh. And the garlic naan is so garlicky it overpowers anything you eat with it. The home made kulfi was the saving grace. Would go back just for that. Parking is a nightmare. You have to park in specific spaces, go inside and get a parking permit, go back out and put it in the car. If those spaces are full and you drove there, you might as well turn around and go home or expect a hefty fine.
