Disappointment - three covers at table and food did not arrive together, Significant delay for one guest which meant two others had cool food. Quinoa taken back to kitched to warm up but still not satisfactory

It was a case of style over substance. My grilled chicken was dry, flavourless and with the texture of cardboard. It was balanced on a bed of vegetables which included seriously undercooked potatoes - they were raw in the centres. I complained to a member of staff but he did nothing, not even an apology. Unaccountably a bread stick was balanced on top of the dish!

I had a lovely Birthday with great friends. Service was good and friendly and setting was nice. We ordered the afternoon Tea which would have been lovely, but two things. The sandwiches were dry and almost hard in parts as I think they were made in advance and not covered?? I should have said something to be honest and I’m sure they would have been changed. That was a few of us had this that mentioned it?? Secondly the cakes are usually two of everything so you don’t have to choose whom has which flavour. ie Like the little chocolate one we both wanted but had to choose?? Food wasn’t the best on the day as such, but all in all it was a great afternoon followed by lovely delicious cocktails.

While the service was very slow (taking an hour to receive our afternoon tea towers despite pre-ordering), the tea itself was fairly nice. It would be a reasonable venue for a nice lunch with the caveat that you would not want to be in a hurry and/or expecting to be doted on like you might be in a quieter venue.

Didn’t actually dine as we left after receiving zero service and waiting over 30 mins (despite several requests for our drinks). Clueless, inattentive staff. We also noticed that the bar was lined with dirty glasses which hadn’t been cleared, which said it all! Shockingly bad experience.

The decor of the cafe was beautiful and the location was really good. However, we had afternoon tea and I found the sandwiches were stale and the scones were so old, they were inedible.

Service: lousy, disrespectful staff. If you are a tourist, I do not recommend you, they are not kind, they do not help the tourist. I asked them to please help me charge the phone and they refused in a disrespectful manner. They took the order wrong, they did not respect my reservation. I do not recommend this place at all!
