Thank you for your interest in dining with us! Please note, for Afternoon Tea reservations, please contact our Events team. Any additional guests may not be added to your reservation nor do we honor multiple reservations intended to create a larger party. Thank you for understanding!

Transport yourself into a magical fairytale and prepare for an unforgettable experience. For our savory menu, we offer a lunch and dinner featuring some traditional dishes as well as our signature quiche and chicken salade. Our menu changes seasonally and everything on our menu is house made from scratch daily with our commitment to the highest quality and ingredients. Our full bar offers signature cocktails, Champagne and beer. Delicious three-layer cakes, as well as cheesecakes, pies, cookies, and other desserts fill our elegantly designed display case and are served daily. Gwendolyn's Cake Bake Shop's have become the destination of Indianapolis for celebrating all life's special occasions.

    Very fancy names for food and mediocre taste. Avacado stack made it so difficult to eat. Red Valvet cake was very dry. The leek pasta basically tasted mushroom pasta.

    The cake bake shop did not disappoint. Food was great, chicken a little bland but cooked perfectly. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and overall a great experience. Waitress made my daughter feel like a fairy with the pixie dust! My only comment for improvement is the bathrooms. It’s dark in the women’s and with a younger child it would be nicer if it was brighter.

    This is an enchanting tea room! The decor was absolutely gorgeous and we had pink bubbly champagne to go along with our lunch! My great niece is 9 years old and she was treated like a princess! Our waitress, Lupe, made sure that she had sparkles in her drink, on her food and she even put some in her hair and explained to her how to make a wish and then blow on the glitter! This glitter is also sold in the gift shop! It is very important to save room for dessert! We all chose something different so we could taste 4 of the amazing cakes! My favorite was the carrot cake with cream cheese icing! I give this dining experience an A++! It was a magical experience!

    Typically Cake Bake does an outstanding job with cakes, however this evening, for a special occasion dining, the cake was dry and crumbly much like a cake that is 4 days old. I shared this information with the server and she said that she would have the manager look into it. Not worth the $20 dollars paid for 1 piece of cake.

    Our experience at The Cake Bake Shop was nothing short of fantastic. Don’t let the name fool you, the cake is not the only amazing thing on the menu. Our table had the chicken piccata, ham and Brie sandwich, pick two with the chicken salad croissant and chicken gumbo, and the quiche. All of us had clean plates at the end of our meal, something that rarely happens. The portions were just right, and the meal was complemented well with the lavender lemonade, raspberry champagne cake, and Earl’s cake. Highly recommend this location, had a great experience.

    Always a great experience to have when family is in town. Food and drinks were solid. Service was a little slow and less attentive than usual.

    We took my out-of-state mom to celebrate her birthday. I accidentally made the reservation for 4 instead of 5 people. It was a very busy day at the restaurant and was reservations only. We were told they couldn’t accommodate 5 of us. We were ready to leave when my sister decided to ask to speak with a manager. He was very helpful and we found a table that could accommodate all of us. This made my mom’s day and we had a great lunch! Food and service was great and the decor was beautiful!
