Camden Spit & Larder, a modern London-inspired eatery, in Downtown Sacramento on Capitol Mall. Chef Oliver Ridgeway showcases the pristine ingredients of the surrounding region with its bold design, bustling bar scene, and prime private dining facilities. Camden is comfortable yet elevated. We are located just a few blocks from the Capitol and Convention Center and just steps from the Golden 1 Center. This is the perfect place to dine pre-show or concert. Camden S&L was a restaurant 'Recognized by Michelin' in 2021, 2022, & 2023.

It provides an air of exclusivity, behind two-way mirrors, while giving a glimpse intothe restaurant.We can seat parties of up to 20 people at one large table, 32 people at four tables of 8 guests, or a standing reception of up to 50 people.

    Everything was on point last night - from the service to the food. The new York steak came a beautiful char, sweet potato fried onion rings (never tried this before), and mushroom - probably one of the best dishes I’ve had in years. Our server(s) was also sharp and friendly. Everything was perfect and made our Valetines Day dinner very special.

    Really great food and service. We both have allergies and they were accommodating and conscious of all choices which could be dangerous. Will definitely return

    We were here for their 2025 Valentine’s Day special and loved all 4 courses that were brought to us. The cocktail pairing was also excellent. The staff was amazing and checked in on us constantly throughout the night.

    I love the ambiance and food prep. The food presentation looks amazing. The service was quick and fast. I love the farm to fork concept. However, I feel some of the dishes were a little overpowering. There is too much root vegetables. Though it gives a good earthy taste to it. Too much, is just too strong. It could be the season, but maybe some greens or tomatoes. I'm not a fan of goat cheese, but it did pair well with the beets. I kove the steak, hiwever I would have prefer the purees to not be all over the meat. The dessert looks beautiful but it was too sugary. Cream and then mousse, seems too rich. I feel a bit of acid might go well with the desserts to offset the sugar. Say, orange or lemon. Also the price is outrageous. For the amount of food, 415 dollars for 2 ppl.

    My wife and I celebrated my birthday At Camden’s because it is our favorite restaurant in Sacramento. Their staff always goes above and beyond to make our dining experiences memorable. This dinner was no different. Jeff their wonderful maitre de quickly seated and brought two glasses of complimentary sparkling wine to help us kick off the birthday celebrarion. Chelsea a server new to us, did a wonderful job of making us comfortable and feeling right at home. The food never disappoints at Camden’s. My wife’ prime rib was sensational - tender and full of flavor. I chose the meat pie special that evening which was shredded lamb seasoned with Middle Eastern herbs and spices baked in a wonderful crust. This entree was exceptional. The drinks, coffees and desserts were excellent. Oliver, the owner and head chef came to our table to inquire about our experience, which was a very nice touch. Of course we gave he and his staff top marks for a wonderful dining experience. It was a very enjoyable birthday celebration dinner! Thank you, Oliver, Jeff and Chelsea.
