A French-Japanese bistro in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles.

Reservations are always recommended, but we are often able to accommodate walk-ins as well.

While we love dogs, we can only accept trained service animals (not emotional support animals) both in our dining room as well as on our outdoor patio. We appreciate your understanding.

This is based on NYE price fixe menu and service. Overall ambience was nice & playlist was fun & lively. We experienced a 6 course dinner that was delicious. The service was below par. Our server made minimal contact with us. Our second course was skipped and we had to ask for it. Our service felt rushed and because it was rushed our dishes were stacked at our table. The establishment is cute and would go back to review the restaurants other food options.

I can NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. Ignorant hostess, rude even. Had a reservation for two at 6 pm. We came 40 minutes early, not a problem for us to wait for our table. But we could not wait at the bar, not allowed. Instead got to sit in a corner by the restrooms. Hostess said someone will come and take drink order. About 10- 15 min later, no one had come to check on us, we were completely ignored. I walked up to the bar and ordered drinks. They tasted very nice. Friendly staff at the bar. About 15 min before our reservation time, the hostess tells us she will not have a table ready for us, it will be later, but she doesn't know how much later it will be. At about 7 pm I went to find the hostess, but she has no table for us yet. I see open seats at the bar, I go back and ask if we can sit there, we could. Ordered quickly, food is interesting and good. I have never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant before.

Frequent visits to this wonderful restaurant have never disappointed me. The food is always superb! The ambience and service equally always impress! My favorite restaurant in LA.

Juliana is the best server. One of the best we have had in LA in all our decades living here. The food is inventive and delicious. Perfect for a special occasion or just a fabulous treat.
