Can Can is a French brasserie and bakery in Cary Court Shopping Center. With seating for over 140 in the main dining room, an Art Nouveau inspired private dining room that seats up to 60 guests or over 100 for cocktails, and a full-service bakery and pastry kitchen supplying all of its breads, pastries, and desserts, the restaurant’s versatility should provide the area an array of options and events.

Can Can provides nonstop service morning, noon, and night and looks to give the local neighborhood, businesses, and Richmond visitors, a home away from home, an office away from the office, a place of refuge, or a stage for celebrating with friends.

As always, CanCan did not disappoint! Our server Liam was friendly and courteous and every bite was delicious! We were a table of 4 ladies for brunch to celebrate 2 birthdays and everyone had a great time. 2 of us got the eggs in pergatory (eggs cooked in tomato sauce with feta cheese) and the other 2 enjoyed the avocado toast topped with lump crab. We shared a carafe of mimosas and creme brulee for dessert, five stars all around! This is a favorite restaurant for our group & we will definitely be coming back soon.

Food was overpriced for the small portions and we felt very rushed to get the check and get out. Other than that, we enjoyed our experience. Atmosphere was very nice and cozy, similar to a European restraunt other than the rush to eat and get the check. Overall would recommend.

Made a 5:15 reservation for six of us thinking that would give us plenty of time to make it to a venue that is literally 5 minutes away by 6:50pm. Very wrong!! Food arrived at 6:35pm. Such a bummer to feel rushed through a great meal AND miss out on our next event as well. Food quality was great as usual! Just don’t plan on CanCan if you are on a timeline.

We had a fantastic experience (as usual). I visited with some friends who are from out of town and they absolutely loved the food and the ambiance and vibes. Thank you for a great time and delicious food!

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent night out to celebrate her birthday. We had a wonderful server and our table for two near the back suited us well. The experience could hardly have been any better. The only thing I would warn others about, it the place gets loud. Metal ceilings and hard surfaces create a dining experience that is not subtle. We look forward to our next visit and hope it is soon. Thank you Can Can for making our night so enjoyable.

Excellent food and service. Ambience is beautiful albeit a bit loud. Pricing was appropriate for food quality. Really fantastic evening.

We were given a table by the front window, as requested. Our waitress was patient, attentive, and kept up with our needs. The food was its normal tasty except my frites were all little tiny pieces, like they had come from the bottom of a batch. The HIGH noise rating was caused by a table near the door, who consumed quite a few drinks/ wine while we were there and they were loudly enjoying themselves! One suggestion: find a way to block some of the afternoon sun glare at those front tables, maybe a shade that could be lowered a little? Maybe it’s already there!
