The views are the best part of this restaurant. You have an amazing view of the beach that is out of a magazine which sets the ambiance quite nicely. The servers were courteous but the food took an hour for our food to come while others got theirs quicker. The food was very expensive for what you get, and although the presentation was nice it truly wasn’t worth the value. Come here for a sunset drink, totally worth it. Eat elsewhere.

The atmosphere, ocean front, is an obvious five star. But At my dinner table I would never serve a guest dinner on chipped plate, at the canoe house chipped plates appears to be standard fair Both of our entrees were served on chipped plates. I was surprised at the kitchen’s lack of detail. We both ordered snapper catch of the day it was over cooked, nice crunch on top but a tad dry. The service was cheerful and attentive. The salad, roasted carrots and pineapple genoise delightful. I was disappointed I was expecting better. I have eaten at this restaurant before, two years ago, The Canoe Club has slipped the chef needs to tighten their presentation.

The food was delicious. I thought the size portion of the sides and appetizers was really small, but the entrees were normal.

I found out they have a relatively new chef. I noticed the menu was more asian oriented which for my taste is great. Compared to around a year ago, everything was so much better. My family said they would all like to come back.

Great food, even better service. All items tried were tastier than the next, multiple servers very attentive. Also had the pleasure of chatting with the beverage manager Reed. He deserves a promotion. Recommend strongly.

Our fam of 4 requested outside seating and expectation was met. Service was impeccable! We were always promptly served and checked on — questions were happily answered and added info given without inquiry! IAN was too notch! Manager also came over to introduce himself and check on our contentment with meal. Food was delicious. Loved the Kampachi done warayaki style. The corn ribs are a must! The Nikko cocktail drink was delicious and refreshing. The Goose dirty martinis gave option for blue cheese olives and it was off the hook! Coffee Semifreddo was like nothing we’d tried and with the banana side flavor …made it a must! Cost here is $$$$$ but if you’re looking for a memorable and special dining experience while on Island— this fits the bill!

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Canoe and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service, exquisite cuisine, and warm ambiance. From the moment we walked in, the staff were attentive and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The menu offered a diverse range of options, and the dishes we ordered were expertly prepared and presented. The flavors were bold and innovative, and each bite was a delight. Overall, I highly recommend Canoe for a truly unforgettable dining experience. 5/5 stars!"
