   My party of two had a delightful evening at Cantina Gia. It appears to be a popular neighbourhood restaurant. We went on a Tuesday night and the place was busy. We had Calamari as a starter. As main courses, we had Creste Rigate & Sausage and Canestri & Ragu alla Nona. All dishes were expertly prepared, very tasty and portions generous. This restaurant is highly recommended for a nice, casual evening out. As it is a busy place, diners must be prepared for a higher than average noise level.

   Perfect family dinner for my Mom's birthday. Everybody loved their meal (6 adults and a toddler) Drinks, wine, appetizers and mains were all perfect - had shared apps and salad, and tried a few pastas along with the steak and chicken and the potato sides. Every single dish was excellent, they were even able to accommodate a toddler version of cacio peppe for our 3 year old guest (no pepper - lots of cheesy noodles!) we all agreed we will be back for the next special family celebration.

   Came here for a birthday on a Tuesday evening. Despite being a weeknight, every table was filled- thankfully we had reservations! Server was welcoming and very knowledgeable on the menu and wine pairing. Shared starters- focaccia with the burrata, the arancini for 4, and the Caesar salad. All delicious. Mains for our table - the cacio e pepe, mushroom mafaldine, carbonara, and the canestri & ragu alla nonna. Dessert was a tiramisu, so yummy! Every dish was well plated and very tasty, vibrant, and fresh. The vibe was casual but cozy, romantic. Loved the old-school pendant lights. Great place for a date night. Highly recommend.

   The food is truly delicious! The restaurant is bursting at the seams and they’ve packed it to the brim with tables they are eager to turn quickly which takes away from the ambiance. The packed tables and tons of tables create a very noisy environment that makes it hard to carry a conversation.

   Food was great but we were rushed out by the server multiple times to clear the table for the next seating. There is a way to politely do this and that was not done it hindered our experience.

    Great food, great staff, lovely restaurant. I have been for lunch and super, it has always been fantastic! I am always happy coming here to eat.
