Carbone is Chef Mario Carbone’s homage to the great Italian American restaurants of mid-20th century in New York, where delicious, exceptionally well-prepared food was served in settings that were simultaneously elegant, comfortable and unpretentious. His food captures the essence of that history but takes its culinary cues from the kitchens of his childhood, the great talents with whom he worked throughout his early career and incorporates his signature techniques that blend familiar and bold flavors to create the most craveable dishes. We call this Carbone Italian.

A wonderful experience always. I have so much fun every time I go, because the menu is so diverse and the food is exquisite. Some flavors are a little different than what I normally eat, but it’s always fun to try something new. Would recommend for date night or any fun occasion!

We had a lovely intimate evening. The ambiance is beautiful. The prices are notoriously high. We did splurge a significant amount for this experience.

Expensive. Worth it. Service was friendly, fast, efficient. Cocktails, Caesar salad, spicy rigatoni were perfect.

Our experience this time was degrading to say the least from the hostess group. The restaurant had many open tables that remained open throughout the time we were there. My guest was an 85 year old who had difficulty walking. After seeing that the hostess walked us to the back corner of the restaurant to the furthest table by the bar and the kitchen, our view was the kitchen with the curtain open. I requested another table. The hostess went back to the hostess desk and returned with the answer being we do not have an available table. Clearly they did. I do want to say that our waiter tried to make up for the disrespect, however, the damage was done and we will not be returning or suggesting this place of dining again.

One of the best meals of my life! Fantastic service and ambiance. A little pricey for portion sizes, but it was fun to splurge for a special event.

Great service, good food but not memorable, crazy over priced. $250 for two people who split a main and were both doing “dry January” ( if we would have had drinks it would have added $100+).
