    Four of us had a wonderful dinner on Saturday evening. The staff were very attentive and particularly warm and friendly without being intrusive. The pasta, chicken and steak meals were especially enjoyed as were the walnut torte and tiramisu. The restaurant decor is quite modern, stylish and comfortable. Difficult to go wrong in making this choice.

    I took my best friend out for a night out in Toronto for dinner and a show to say thank you for being such a wonderful maid of honor to me this past year. Since I don’t go out to Toronto a lot and I wanted to seek out a close enough spot to our next destination ; Massey hall it didn’t take me long to land onto Carisma. I looked at previous reviews, food pictures which really allows me to assess the quality and ambiance I’m looking for. Well let me tell you Carisma didn’t disappoint! The pictures and ambiance are exactly as shown. It was a cozy family oriented cool vibe with many servers to be there for you whether it was refilling your water or for requests. We ordered the grilled calamari with salsa and olives to start. Just the right size to taste between two. Our mains were the shrimp spaghettini and the wild boar ragu. I subbed the regular noodles for GF penne. Lastly paired that with a side of rapini for some vegetables. Chefs kiss! We were warmly welcomed & accommodated for needing to be in/ out in an hour to make it to our show. Thank you Carisma! I will highly recommend you for a nice night out to others :)
