Carne Mare is an Italian chophouse by Chef Andrew Carmellini offering prime cuts of steaks, fine seafood, and Italian specialties. The menu by Chef Carmellini and Chef della Cucina Emma Glasrud begins with fine seafood, cocktails, oysters, traditional antipasti, salads and carpaccio. Entrées include housemade pastas, seafood and, of course, the main attraction: prime-aged beef, wagyu and prime rib, served with a selection of steakhouse contorni.

For parties of 8 or more, we offer a five-course menu for $180 per guest. It's a wonderful way to taste our most popular and seasonal dishes. Pricing is exclusive of beverage, tax, and gratuity. Whether specified beforehand or upon arrival for your reservation, we take allergies and dietary restrictions into consideration. Please keep in mind that the menu below is simply an example and your menu will be finalized the day of your reservation.

On New Year's Eve, Carne Mare will serve a three-course prix fixe menu for $200 per person. Guests will select their choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. The price is excluding beverage, tax, and gratuity. Wine pairings are available for each course at an additional cost.

Terrible food quality for the price. Espresso martini was so bad it had to be sent back. Not a thing we ordered was worth the cost.

Our server, Ray, was spectacular - if six stars was an option, that is what we would choose. The food was great! The Farmer's tableside salad was a great start after appetizers - we had the tuna and it was exceptional. Another member of our party had crab legs which were deemed very good. The halibut entree was even better - you don't often see halibut steak but that is what they serve and it was fabulous. and the lamb chops were some of the best in town. And the rolls - don't pass on them. So good. We also ordered the honeynut squash and the potatoes. Both were excellent sides. The sommelier was knowledgeable and recommended the perfect wine to accompany our meal choices. The apple dessert was a winner! Sadly, the menu option for one of the fish dishes and what was offered were very different - a salt crusted black bass, which is what two of our party wanted, was not available and being replaced with red snapper. However, we were not told that the presentation would change. The snapper was a good, but unappealing-looking piece of fish, served skin side up on a very large, otherwise empty plate - and the skin was not crisped. Even adding the citrusy sauce didn't change it's plate appeal. When you are anticipating a dish you don't usually make at home (salt-crusted fish) and get an anemic-looking piece of snapper, it was a bit of a let down. We enjoyed our experience and will be back.

Over-salted food across the board, fatty lamb, definitely not a 5 star restaurant as advertised. Service was OK until server forgot to bring a drink to one in our party. Very disappointing.

We visited Carne Mare for our anniversary dinner recently and had a wonderful time. The ambiance is great, with each table having its own space. The lights were dim but the table lights added more light. The bathrooms are all individual washrooms so you didn’t have to feel cramped in a stall. Food wise, the wagyu was chewier than the normal wagyu we were used to. After asking for a different item as a sub, they obliged and the pasta was delicious! Great Parmesan foam on top, made it stand out. Bread is great, and our servers made our night special with a dessert. Overall, great, I will say it is pricey and the twice baked potato is not shareable (we were told it was) it was the size of a normal potato.

Must try the cheese stick caviar. It was very interesting. And the broccolini was perfect!

Very nice place!! Ordered the 10 oz Wagyu Baretta Steak. I don’t recommend it as it was tough to cut through and chew. Snake River Farms Wagyu is marketed as a top Wagyu supplier but wouldn’t buy their beef again. Staff was nice and attentive. Didn’t have any dessert but looked very good. Was hard to talk to others in our party of four as it was pretty loud. Would try again but would choose different menu item.

Excellent quality food, that was fresh and very tasteful. Great service as well. However, the noise level was very high and the price point was a bit high
