Milwaukee's premier steakhouse, Carnevor is one of Wisconsin’s most acclaimed fine dining destinations. A restaurant consistently topping year-end “Best Of” lists, Carnevor has been lauded for its variety of culinary tastes – from our luscious barrel-cut beef to mouthwatering New York Strips and bone-in fillets. Our steak menu offers exquisite wet- and dry-aged USDA prime beef – a distinction afforded to less than two percent of all American beef – as well as daily selections of the coveted Wagyu imported from Japan. And with a wine list featuring more than 750 selections, you’ll always find the perfect bottle to uncork with your meal. But it’s not merely the “meal” you’ll enjoy at Carnevor.     Join us at Carnevor to feast in the revelry and ring in the New Year on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. We will be offering our full menu of unbeatable steaks, freshly caught seafood, and delectable sides. Bubbles and libations abound for the evening as we say farewell to 2024 and welcome the New Year with an unforgettable dinner experience. Reservations are available for groups of two (2) to six (6) people based on availability. A $50.00 deposit per person will be taken via credit card to secure your reservation for this very special evening. Deposits are fully applicable towards your dinner. This deposit will be fully refundable up to 48 hours prior (12/29/24) for any cancellations, no-shows, or changes in party size.

Omar and Team really know how to treat their clientele very well with appreciation, great service, food, drinks and much more. Not much can be said other than you have got to try this for yourself!

                                                                                                                                  The waygu steak was awesome. My wife’s filet was average. Her potato soup was bad and we thank them for taking off the bill. Her Brussels sprouts were not great. My chop salad was good. My truffle smashed potatoes was good. The Gunma steak awesome.

                                                                                                                                  Table was ready at the time of our reservation. Service was slow and lacked the energy I was seeking for my birthday celebration. Had to ask for everything (I.e., ice for drinks twice, no small plates for bread, what the soup of day was, etc.). Steak was great! Lamb chop rack was tiny (3 small lamb portions). Sides were tasty but lukewarm (I guess sitting waiting for steak). Said the sides (truffle potatoes, grilled asparagus) were shareable, but not for a table of 4 unless you took a small scoop. Did receive a complementary dessert of donuts but they tasted refried and old. Not good. I feel like we had a better experience in the past. Unfortunately, I don’t need to return for a while, if ever.

                                                                                                                                  Very impressed with Carnevor. We had a wonderful anniversary dinner there. Their food is truly fantastic and the service was very good. The table bread and butter were a great start. We had the tuna tartare and octopus appetizers - both were excellent. I was impressed by the octopus especially, as it was not rubbery or chewy. My filet mignon was amazing and my husband enjoyed his strip. The mushrooms were the perfect side, as was the lobster mac and cheese, which had very generous chunks of lobster. The servers and waitstaff were very attentive and made for a positive experience overall. We would definitely go back for a special occasion meal again if we’re back in Milwaukee.

                                                                                                                                  Our waiter (Mark) was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable in regards to the menu and specials. Service was outstanding. We had a 7pm reservation and were seated promptly and service was excellent/efficient. We will definitely be back again. Note: We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and they even printed a happy birthday message inside of the menu. No complaints!!

                                                                                                                                  Probably the best steak I have had in Milwaukee. Outstanding wine list, everything we had was fantastic. Crab cake, beet salad, and of course the steaks. We had the filet, strip, and ribeye across our group and everyone was very pleased and did I mention the wine list. Service was top notch! Thank You Will.
