   The restaurant is in a beautiful old home that has been restored well in the dining area. The ambiance is very nice. We were greeted upon arrival and quickly seated. After that it was about 10 minutes before someone came and filled out water glasses, she stated she wasn’t our waitress. About 10 minutes later she returned and said she was. I ordered a Caesar salad, which when it arrived was huge, the dressing was nice but the use of mostly iceberg lettuce vs romaine took away from the salad. Also the addition of tomatoes was unusual. For the main I ordered the Pork Rib Eye and asked to substitute Root Vegetables for the Brussel Sprouts, which the kitchen did. The pork was cooked well but overall the dish was bland. My wife ordered the Double Hamburger, it was also cooked properly but the bacon jam was too sweet for her taste, once she removed it she enjoyed the burger. The fries however were uncooked and partially raw. We have to travel about 45 minutes to get to any good restaurant where we live and we were hoping Caroline’s could be added to the small list we have from the lower part of Delaware, unfortunately we need to continue to frequent the beach.

   We always love brunch there. Those breakfast potatoes really make the meal! Genavie is a great server, and they all are, working together to be sure you are well taken care of.

   They were out of the gluten free option we wanted to order and we were the first seating for brunch. Then brought my dish out with regular bread and I had to wait for them to correct my order. Waitress was unorganized.

   This was our first time at Caroline’s, we wanted to try something new for our girls night. The food and drinks were amazing, and we will certainly be back!

   I had the crab cake grilled cheese, it was great. Very cheesy, crab was tasty it came with home cut fries with skins & ketchup on the side.

   A wonderful gem in Denton, the staff and food were amazing and a real treat in a very relaxed atmosphere where you were not rushed but rather encouraged to enjoy and linger at your pace, the perfect ending for a treat for a hard week or just because you deserve it.
