I normally do not write these type of terrible reviews, but I cannot let this go. We had a reservation at 8:15p for Valentine’s Day, and upon arriving on time we were told that it was a 25-30 min wait. There was no call to us, nor was the hostess particularly busy (meaning, she could have called those with reservations). There were three groups also waiting. The restaurant was fairly packed. My wife was a bit upset that we had to wait despite the reservation. They sat us 30 min later, but at THE worst table in the entire restaurant - right at the entrance of the kitchen. I do believe that the hostess and the host seating us did this on purpose, for being midly upset that we had to wait. Why do I think this? Well, we asked our waiter to sit at the other next table, which they did. But the host NEVER sat anyone at that same table again!! I believe that management needs to speak to the host and hostess about treating people and managing wait times. I observed the front from our table, and many times they had people wait for 30 min despite tables being opened right in front of them!!! I’ve been here a bunch of times and the food and service were excellent - that’s why I chose it for Valentine’s Day. But this time, with this amount of traffic, the food was okay (baked clams and beef carpaccio were good, linguini was massive enough to feed five I kid you not, Caesar salad was huge but not good lettuce was soggy and dessert crème brûlée was literally out of the fridge - not fired up). The waiter service was good, especially the waiters assistant (she was always on top of everything), but that was prob the best part of the it all. Unfortunately, with the host and hostess experience and mediocre food, we won’t be coming back, here or to any of the Limanj restaurants..
