Went to dinner with my son on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019. Arrived around 6:20pm. Got seated soon after our arrival. Waiter Calvin took our drink order. After he brought our drinks, he brought us bread & dipping sauce which was good. We both ordered our dinner choices. My son had Chicken Parmagiana & I ordered Spaghetti w/their fennel sausage. Calvin said they had my choice as I didn't see it on the menu. I always have that when we have dinner at Carrabba's. We had an order of mozzarella sticks w/maranara as well. We got soup w/our dinner & we both had the chicken soup. The soup came first & it was good. Then the mozzarella sticks came & they also were good. We waited at least 40 minutes after finishing the appetizers before our dinner finally came. As Calvin served us our meal, he informed me they were out of the fennel sausage. Wasn't told when I placed my order so I could have the choice of ordering something else. Told as dinner was being served. Offered to bring me meatballs, don't like meatballs. Ruined the whole dinner for both my son & I. Told him I would take the spaghetti. Calvin had the manager come out & talk to us. She only offered to comp my meal & give me a free desert. Didn't do much to make it good at all. My dinner wasn't the only one ruined. My sons was as well. He even gave me half of his chicken parmagiana because he felt bad for me. So he did w/out all of his meal to make up for the restaurants bad policy. The manager should have comped the whole meal or at least a bigger discount. My meal was only $13.oo & change. So she really didn't go out of her way to rectify the situation. Be a long while before we will go back to this particular Carrabba's. Pat Severson
