The award winning Carriages restaurant is uniquely located within the allpay ltd campus in Whitestone Business Park, Hereford, and has been described as "City chic in rural Hereford".

Carriages was inspired by founder Tony Killeen's passion for trains and the quirky setting of the restaurant, which overlooks the old Whitestone railway station.

You can enjoy views of the rolling hills from the floor to ceiling windows in the top floor restaurant; dine inside or alfresco, on the spacious balcony, or walk the landscaped grounds surrounding the Four Seasons lake - which transforms into a maze of secret gardens, impressively lit up at night.

Carriages is open Friday and Saturday evenings.

Due to the nature of the restaurant, any children dining must be over 12 years old and accompanied by an adult.

Dress code is strictly Smart Casual.

                    Sixth visit to Carriages and never disappoints. Having paid double to eat at the Shard in London, the food here is miles better. Minibus home after always an added bonus.

                    I’ve been to Carriages on numerous occasions and this visit was just as lovely. Every tiny detail is still in place from the food and wine to the service. Pasha was our host and he was extremely considerate and knowledgeable on everything we ordered, including the port! The atmosphere was one of relaxed and sophisticated dining and people all around us were having a wonderful time too. The food is always very special but I have to give a particular highlight to the lobster cannelloni and the chocolate roulade. Outstanding. The kitchen team are obviously an extremely talented bunch! Don’t hesitate to book carriages. It truly is exceptional.
