Located at 10th Street and Piedmont avenue along the rainbow intersection by Piedmont Park, Casa Almenara is serving Mexican & Wood Grilled Mediterranean cuisine along with craft cocktails, friendly service and entertainment.

Casa Almenara is a neighborhood destination offering Tulum vacation atmosphere and Delicious Wood Grilled Mediterranean Street Food with friendly hospitality where guests can share a meal or a craft cocktail with family and friends. Almenara means “beacon” in Spanish, and we are a relaxing oasis at the busy corner of Midtown.

Casa Almenara is popular with serving Celebration Packages for Bachelorette, Graduation, Birthday and corporate parties. Also popular with bottomless mimosas during brunch service on Saturdays and Sundays, Tacos, Burritos, Lamb and Adana Kebab are popular dishes during dinner service.

I hate that I can’t remember our bartender’s name ( he was working on the Saturday after Thanksgiving!) the Bloody Mary’s were on point!!! The lamb kabobs were over cooked but good in flavor. The service was on point! I will be back!

We ordered from the brunch menu and the regular menu. Their prices are fair for the amount of food received and in line with other brunch locations. The noise level was high which made it difficult to have conversations at the table. However, their music selection can appeal to a large audience.

The guacamole app was small for the price. Overall we were pleasantly surprised. However they need to update their online menu.

Arrived for Saturday Brunch. Took the hostess some time to find our reservation to seat us. We waited for about 10 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated, the servers never recognized us. No hi, no i’ll be right there, not asking if we wanted water or anything. After we sat there for over 20 minutes with the servers ignoring us we walked out. We went to Bulla Gastro Bar and the food, service and drinks were great. Highly recommend. I will never go back to Casa Almenara after this treatment

We had a group of 9 for brunch. Free parking is a plus for downtown restaurant. Food was good but the kitchen messed up a few orders twice and brought the wrong food. One guest was overcharged and had to tell the server to check the menu. Answer was”oh you are right”. Interesting menu. Good ambience.

Had a great time for bottomless mimosas. Great atmosphere and service. Keith was super friendly and attentive. Fun area to walk around as well

The food was really good , but the server was a little off putting. He was passive aggressive to several members in my party. I would come back if I were to have a different server.

We had 11:30am reservations. Restaurant was not open. Spoke with delivery driver unloading supplies to see if anyone was there. Someone finally opened about 11:50. We were served a drink with a bug in it. Food mediocre. Don’t make early reservations no one will be there.
