Casa Dani translates to Dani's House, derived from southern Spain's naming of small family restaurants as if they were the Chef's home, and that is precisely Chef Dani Garcia's intention, opening the doors to his house through avant-garde cuisine and a menu featuring items inspired by Spain's Mediterranean south. One of Spain's most internationally renowned chefs, having achieved 3 Michelin stars and the Bib Gourmand in 2015, Garcia's culinary style mixes surprising flavors, textures, and even temperatures without losing sight of his culinary roots.                                                                               I was expecting so much more from a restaurant recommended by the Michelin guide. The service was horrific, we did not get tended to until 20mn after sitting down, close to an hour had passed by by the time we got our appetizers/tapas. We had two different ladies helping with water pours and were tended to by two different waiters who alternated throughout the dinner. None were caring or able to explain any of the wines available. The food was average (Ham Croquetas/Tuna Belly/ Oxtail Brioche). The squid ink paella and its aioli was actually dynamite. But this dish is not anything that would make me go back to this restaurant. Definitely not Michelin worthy.

                                                                              Took 20 minutes before someone came over to take our order. We were told Pállela would take 45 minutes, which was fine. The pállela came out first then it took 10 more minutes for the other 5 dinner orders to come out.
