I recently dined at Casa do Brasil and wanted to share some feedback regarding my experience. I had heard fantastic things about your restaurant and was looking forward to enjoying a memorable meal, but unfortunately, a few aspects of the service fell short of my expectations.
Firstly, I found the service to be inattentive. Several times I was not asked if I wanted a cut, even if my card was always green. The only cuts I got were mostly because I requested them. This affected the overall dining experience, and I felt that the level of attentiveness and attention to detail didn’t match the reputation I had heard.
Additionally, there was some confusion around the gratuity, which I felt could have been handled with more transparent communication. We were a large group, and even though I plainly asked if the bill already included gratuity because it was a party of 7, I was told it did not, so we gave an additional tip. One of our group members checked her bill after arriving home, and the large party tip was already included, so our waiter got almost double the tip.
These two reasons make me want to avoid dining in this restaurant again.
