    They extremely overbooked Valentine’s Day. We were sat 40 minutes after our reservation time. It took so long for the food to come out and they ran out of some options.

    We attended the Valentines dinner and while the food and service at table were excellent, we very much experienced feeling like a number. It was an over booked event will little individual attention and multiple servers having to tag team. The front entry waiting area was quite crowded. The “formal” attire suggested was not adhered to as one would expect of this caliber establishment. Some in attendance were wearing Carhartt and camo with Crocs. So standards could be improved. But we were glad to be served. Our server did charge our CC for a different table and had to refund it, but we understood in the chaos.

    We always have a great experience at Casa Mangiare and this time was no different. We enjoyed the set Valentine's Day menu options and the service level was great! Unfortunately, the cheesecake was a bit underwhelming, but that is the very first time I've had something that I didn't love.

    We went for Valentine's Day knowing there was a pre-set menu. We arrive 10 minutes prior to our 7pm reservation and were rudely told it would be at least 15 minutes. The lobby was packed and the staff was stressed. Once seated, our server was nice but you could tell they were just trying to turn tables. This was not the romantic evening we were hoping for. The food was good but not exceptional. We have been here many times and this was not up to the outstanding level at previous dinners. After the main course, our server place the bill on the table saying "my manager told me to". We had not been served dessert or asked if we wanted coffee, etc. 30 minutes later we asked for our dessert "to go" just as the server was bring it out. The tables on either side, who arrived later, were served first. We were very disappointed in the overall experience, knowing that they have provided excellent service and food in the past. No one asked how our dinner or evening was when we left. They were just happy to turn another table.
