Named as one of the best Italian restaurants in the country by a leading trade association, Casa Mia On The Green in Rocky Hill, CT has been family owned and operated since 1985. Diners enjoy a low-key and welcoming setting in which to engage in the "art of dining".

Menu options at Casa Mia On The Green range from a la carte lunch and dinner menus, to a family style menu and a buffet menu. There are multiple catering menus and special holiday options too. Standard choices include appetizers, salads, pasta and risotto specials and an array of seafood and meat dishes.                                 La comida estaba súper mala el rabo de langosta no se podía comer estaba tan pegado al casco de langosta que no salía cuando logré sacar un pedazo tenía sabor a chicle la atención pésima tuvimos que esperar una horra sentados para que nos atendieran y pedir que nos atendiera porque no nos atendían mala organización los empleados discutiendo delante de las personas deberás no vuelvo a ir a ese restaurante

                                I thought Casa on the Green was a lovely experience considering it being my first time visiting and it was NYE! My server was delightful and right there making sure our needs were met! The food was delicious and portions were large and certainly unexpected! I thought the main dining room would be slightly more “elegant”, however; it worked because the food and service was impeccable! I am definitely returning! Thank you for helping to make the end of 2024 a great one!

                                After my very poor and Fustrating experience, I don't think I would recommend Casa Mia on the Green. I had booked a reservation on-line for 12/12/24 for 6 people. One of the party members being one of the President's for the Sphriners. Wanted to impress him with the restaurant to possibly hold many of our specials events of many people to attend at the restaurant for future occassions. I received my confirmation on my phone for 6 people at 5:30 p.m. When we arrived I checked in with one of the head waiters and she informed me that since they have a holiday party in the backroom seating is limited and even though I received confirmation on my phone it is considered open table which means first come first serve of 8 tables near the bar room. We waited over 1 1/2 hrs. and still no table available. Apparently they had 2 - 3 couples who are regular's I guess occupy the table even though they were done with dinner and they kept on getting up to dance in the bar area at which time they had a band that night which was way over too load and could not hear anyone talking to you. I then approached one of the owners who went to school with my older brothers and told him that he needs to update his website so that people are not misinformed when they make reservations and pointed out how 3 of the tables kept on being occupied by couples who were dancing and had completed their dinner. He did nothing nor conpensate a drink for the long wait. After 1 1/2 hrs. of waiting we left and went to Salute who were able to accomodate our party of 6. We ended up spending over $540.00 and tiped our waitress almost $200.00. Keep in mind that my family has had many many different big party occasions at Casa Mia i.e. Birthday parties of 25 - 30 people at a time, Confirmations, Communions, Showers, Stag parties, Anniverseries and many other big parties. After this experience I would not recommend nor would I go back. It was not very professional on treatment we received.

                                The wait staff and servers were amazing. Most of the food was decent. Our appetizer (eggplant rollatini) was super dry and tasteless. Literally had to spit it out. At a quick glance, the place looks great…then you notice the chairs when you get to your table and they’re old and worn. I switched mine out from another table because of how wobbly it was. The second one wasn’t much better. The restrooms look like someone on a budget tried to DIY and could definitely use some TLC.

                                Generally the food and service at Casa Mia is very good. However, in this instance my friend felt that there was way too much salt on the veal, which detracted from the appeal.

                                It appeared to be transitioning to a banquet? The dining area was closed- wine boxes piled up at the entrance. We went to the bar, very quiet for a Friday. Food was good. Service limited , but polite. Might be a while before we return .
