Mónica Patiño and Micaela Miguel share a neighborhood lifestyle in a casual and family dining room, with simple, seasonal, direct and unpretentious food.
Remembering her grandmother's meals in Colonia Roma, Mónica Patiño, creates a “Roman” menu where dishes are served in the center of the table to share as we would at home.
It is about sharing and living around a good meal.
At Casa Virginia we are interested in highlighting the importance of the origin of the products and the producers. We want to convey an awareness of what we consume and how we consume it, therefore, we seek to supply ourselves with raw materials from small national suppliers.

Honestly, not the best experience. The tables are all very close to each other and the servers don’t really give you much attention unless you have a bigger party. Price to value ratio is very high. Almost 200 pesos for one tostada. Most of the wines they don’t sell by glass but by bottle.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Casa Virginia! From start to finish, everything was simply outstanding. The food and service were exceptional – it’s clear that the team takes great pride in what they do. The restaurant itself is truly one-of-a-kind, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. As for the food, every dish I tried was a highlight. The flavors were bold, fresh, and perfectly balanced – each bite was a delightful surprise. The drinks were equally impressive, crafted with precision and paired wonderfully with the meals. It’s evident that Casa Virginia is dedicated to providing not only delicious food but an unforgettable dining experience. The service was impeccable as well. The staff was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, helping me navigate the choices and offering great recommendations. I genuinely felt taken care of from the moment we walked in to the moment I left. Casa Virginia has truly raised the bar when it comes to both food and hospitality, and I cannot wait to return. Highly recommend!

Todos los alimentos, vinos y postres excelentes, nos pareció perfecto. Excepto que no vi en la información del restaurante que no tenían el acceso indicado para personas con discapacidad. Tengo discapacidad motora permanente y las escaleras me cuestan mucho trabajo.

Casa Virginia is one of several restaurants in converted colonial mansions in the Roma Norte district of Mexico City, and while it is not as fully restored or snazzily redecorated as some of the others, it has excellent food and a decent wine list, and is a great place for a quiet (or even not-so-quiet) dinner. The night we were there, the bulk of the customers appeared to be Americans, both tourists and expats. That the staff seemed quite familiar with dealing with non-Mexicans suggested that Casa Virginia is not one of the current Roma Norte hot spots, but at least that means you can get a reservation!

La comida estuvo deliciosa desde las entradas hasta el postre; el servicio fue muy bueno. La relación precio calidad es excelente. Es un lugar altamente recomendable.
