Since 1986, Casanova Italian Restaurant is at the heart of the Upcountry Maui lifestyle. From Sunday brunch right into dinner, you may expect the best Italian food on the island (as voted by countless local magazines’ surveys). Fresh salads, pastas, seafood and pizzas from Maui's first wood burning oven are Casanova's signature dishes. Loyal patrons appreciate Casanova's very reasonable prices. In 2017 Open Table diners rated Casanova the Best Italian Restaurant in the State of Hawaii.
At the main crossroad of Historic Makawao town, Casanova is a must do experience after a visit to Haleakala National Park.

    Bar server is excellent, attentive and friendly. Cold drinks and Kale Caesar salad. Chicken Parmesan with pasta was served hot and very delicious.

    Never disappointed !!! Staff always friendly and chef always puts out an awesome dish! Gotta love the pizzas too!! Best Caesar salad ever….

    Cold drinks and fresh hot focaccia bread. Though our salads came out fresh and cold, the main meals were much delayed tonight. Although the restaurant was full, even the child’s meal didn’t arrive until the other dishes came out. Server was outstanding as always here. The staff is friendly and attentive.

    Couple fumbles on service, didn’t care for my fettuccine filet entree and no one bothered to ask Had ravioli last time and was awesome Also didn’t get my open table points Still love this place and look forward to returning to try a different entree

    Love this place for good Italian food and ambiance. Brick chicken is delicious. Pasta is delicious. Caprese appetizer was mediocre. Service was not good but not the fault of our server. She was really as attentive as possible given that they are understaffed so wait staff has too many tables. Once our drinks finally arrived and order given, came out of the kitchen quickly. Just a bit of too long of a wait. Would eat there again anyway with managed expectations, Always busy.

    Our Bar server is always friendly and attentive. Our drinks are served cold and the Margarita is the best around. She squeezes her mix every shift. Kale Caesar salad was delicious and fresh, served cold. We had the Meatball appetizer as our main meal, they were delicious and served hot.
