This is one of our favorite places in Boston. The authentic food cannot be beat. They have the most delicious lasagna. The service is excellent. It is a small restaurant, so seating is tight, but the service, friendliness and food are so worth it.

We went for lunch. Prices were normal dinner prices but portions were light. So I wouldn’t say it was a good value at all. The fresh, hot bread was delicious! Exactly what I wanted. The pasta was fine and the eggplant appetizer was underwhelming. Very, very thin slices of eggplant so the breading takes over the rollatini. The food was ok. We went to 3 North End restaurants during this visit and this was the least notable. The service was friendly and fast. However if I’m being honest, I would not go back here again before trying another Italian restaurant in the area first.

Excellent, intimate restaurant with a personal touch. Depending on where you sit you might get cold as we did with the front door constantly opening. Would suggest that the restaurant add a buffer of entryway. Casarecce has become our favorite place in the North End.

This is a lovely neighborhood place with good food at competitive prices. We went on Christmas Eve and it was bustling. We felt a little rushed. Probably not the best choice given the day. Any other time we have visited, it was fine.

Went for Christmas Eve. It’s a super tiny place (even for North End Standards). Service was excellent. But the food was good, it wasn’t what I would expect from a North End Italian. With a party of 8 the general feedback was “ pretty good, not great”.

The food was amazing! The service was great and very quick. The restaurant was very tiny which is the normal in the north end!

Wonderful food and amazing staff! I choked at lunch and the staff knew exactly what to do which was an added bonus after a great meal!

Wonderful meal from salads to desserts. Even while the restaurant was full we were never rushed to finish and leave.

This was my 4th time dining at Casarecce, and everything was as perfect as the other 3 times. Pesto gnocchi cooked perfectly, burrata and eggplant appetizers were wonderful. Wine list is lovely, service is exceptional. I do want to apologize for one of the guests we brought who sent her dish back, insisting the pasta was undercooked. Let me just say I have dined with this person many times, and it's her, not you. Her dish was perfect (I tried it) - she just likes to make a fuss. She was given a replacement meal that she thoroughly enjoyed. We will most definitely be back, again and again. We will not bring our fussy friend, I promise.
