Catch Hospitality Group's eighth location, Catch Dallas, will be opening it's doors in the iconic and historic Maple Terrace Development this Fall. The 16,000 square-foot dining destination in Uptown Dallas will be complete with a two-level outdoor patio and private events in the signature space, the Emerald Room.
The menu will marry simple yet elegant seafood, sushi, and steak both globally and locally influenced alongside beloved signature dishes like the Catch Roll and Truffle Sashimi. Catch Dallas will feature premium Japanese specialties like luxury sushi selections from Tokyo's Toyosu Market and a unique variety of Japanese Wagyu, which is masterfully seared tableside on a hot rock.

We tried Catch Dallas after having only eaten at Catch LA which gets in my view is 5 Stars across the board. The new Catch Dallas has the same amazing menu, the food is great and we enjoyed family style so we could taste lots of different things. What we didn’t enjoy about the experience was we were greeted at the door with a lot of rules and rigidity. For one, we weren’t allowed to bring two small gift bags in and we were there for an engagement celebration and celebrating two birthdays. So we had to either lock our gifts up in the manager’s office or take them back to our car. That was not the best way for us to be greeted when we were there for a celebration. The staff is also instructed to get the entire order upfront and fast. You cannot order your appetizers and dinner separate, which was frustrating. The appetizers were brought with the main dish and I like appetizers first paced and then the main course. We were brought the wrong food on almost every single order either or we would order three of something, and get two. We did feel very rushed on the food ordering and eating similar to what others have commented. We didn’t even come close to using our allotted time which is given to us upfront. Overall I’m not sure if I would return unless the Management addresses these issues that really did affect our overall experience. It would be so much more enjoyable to have a fun welcoming experience with a little more openness to gifts versus rigid rule following. We took our after party to the Ritz and had a lovely time ordering desserts and more cocktails where we had a lovely time with the celebration portion, which was the whole purpose of going to Catch Dallas.

The experience was excellent from the food to the service, and the atmosphere. Easily one of the best new lux restaurants in Dallas. Get the espresso martini and the branzino. You’re welcome!

Such a vibe! Beautiful restaurant as well. The best part was the food though. Everything we ordered was delicious. I thought my favorite was going to be the famous crispy shrimp but the rainbow sashimi pizza was AMAZING! We had to order it twice! Great place for a girls night. Staff was super accommodating front desk even helped us out with some cute pics.

Julia took care of us out on the patio. Outstanding service and drinks were excellent. We were impressed by the friendliness and attention of the staff. Food was good but could have been better for the price.

AMAZING!! Loved their food and the ambiance! Hands down best restaurant in DFW.. try the oysters, sashimi, crispy chicken bao bun, wagyu fried rice and the ‘HIT ME’ dessert.

Service was excellent from the moment we walked up. This place is a dream and has so many touches that will make your night feel special. Had the yellowtail - so good! The NY strip was also perfect. The sides are sort of small but had a decent flavor. The pornstar martini was worth trying - had a nice balance of sweet and strong. I cant wait to find a reason to go back. Nicely done!
