Disappointing Experience at Catch Miami
We were excited to try the new Catch restaurant in Miami after enjoying their locations in New York, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. Unfortunately, our visit did not meet expectations.
- Buffet Surprise: We were unaware it was a buffet brunch. The setup felt disorganized, resembling a camp buffet rather than a refined dining experience.
- Portion Control Issues: Staff at each station were instructed to limit portion sizes, resulting in frustratingly small servings that required us to make repeated trips for more.
- Iberian Ham Carving Station: The ham carving station was disappointing, with only one person serving poorly cut pieces of ham—just four small slices per order.
- Lackluster Dessert Table: The dessert selection was underwhelming, consisting of lollipops, Starburst, and packaged candies typically found at a CVS store, rather than creative desserts.
- Atmosphere: The rooftop ambiance was lackluster and did not match the vibrant energy of the other locations we loved.
The only positive aspect was our friendly and attentive waiter, who provided excellent service. Overall, I’m unsure if I’ll give Catch Miami another chance, as this experience was far from the quality we expected from the brand.
