I ordered steak medallions medium with stuffed potato. My friend ordered steak medallions medium well with rice. My steak came med/well with stuffed potato, my friend’s came medium with rice. An unpleasant situation in a restaurant of the Cattle Barons class. We traded meat and let our waiter know. I believe his name was Carlos.

Very sad to hear that one of our favorite places to eat in the NW of Calgary will be closing its doors at the end of February 2024. An excellent restaurant which has great food and service. The prime rib dinners are to die for.

Great food! Great service too. We sat down at 5pm, a little early, but the service and food remained great even as the restaurant got busier

We had a wonderful meal at the Cattle Baron. Everything we ordered came out hot, without delay. The service was fantastic! Heard a rumor they were closing at the end of the month, which is really unfortunate.

We went here as a first date. I was extremely appreciative that the staff let us talk and didn't rush us to order. When our food came it was exactly the way we had ordered it and was very flavourful. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time and would definitely return

Busy night on Valentine’s Day, so kitchen was a bit backed up. Our server kept us updated and the food was worth waiting for.

It was Valentines Day so it was pretty busy and the waitress did her best but it was very, very slow waiting for food as especially for dessert. Our steaks were....ok. We've had far better ones from this same restaurant so maybe they just had an off day but it certainly wasn't the very high cost.
