Established in 2014 and reopened in 2022 with a reimagined interior, seasonal menu, and unique cocktail program, Causwells is a neighborhood American bistro rooted in the northern California style of cooking. Chef Adam Rosenblum draws from his diverse background to create a comforting menu that spotlights local, seasonal ingredients influenced by classic American dishes, European inspiration, and the American South. The cocktail menu from Beverage Director and Managing Partner Elmer Mejicanos redefines the American bistro, pulling inspiration from reimagined classics to seasonal offerings, to tableside experiences. Stop by Causwells’ new art deco-inspired space to enjoy a deliciously unique cocktail and smash-style Americana Cheeseburger – some say it’s the best in the country!

                                                                    Came in with my wife and newborn son for a nice lunch. The service was impeccable, helping find a nice space for my wife and son. The food was amazing and great drinks.

                                                                    Loved the menu and the cocktail choices. Great appetizer's, we hade the Ricotta Whip and the 100 layer potatoes - SO GOOD! And thank you for the great Banana Bread Grilled Cheese to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was a surprising delight that I would enjoy again and again!

                                                                    The hosts and servers were the nicest people. We were greeted so kindly, which helped us feel welcomed. One server said, "where is your cute dog?" I didn't think they would remember our dog based on my face and only seeing me once about a month prior. The fried onion side dish is my favorite. The wings are delicious. The American burger is made perfectly. Cocktails are fancy. Not the cheapest places for a burger dinner, but a wonderful experience.

                                                                    The outside tables- there are about 4-5 of them in the direct sun. It is very hot near lunch time even when it is 65 degrees.

                                                                    We LOVED this place. Host hostess was so welcoming and warm!! The food was AMAZING. I love that there are so many small portions you can order so that you can try everything. For the stuff we didn’t get to try, we will 1000% be back!!

                                                                    We were there for brunch. The food was lovely. The cucumber melon salad was beautiful and really well thought out, but a very small portion for $15. The burger and fries were excellent. However the service was terrible despite the restaurant being virtually empty. The hostess took 15 minutes to bring us the kids menu. When we weren’t ready to order when the waiter came over, he looked annoyed that I asked for a couple more minutes. After the food was served, he completely disappeared. We got no refills on coffee and had to ask someone else to bring our check.

                                                                    This is a fun and relaxing place to go with friends. I enjoyed the tomato soup, crab cake, and arugula salad. I noticed other diners ordering burgers and fries. The heated outdoor seating was a nice addition too for cold evenings. I appreciated the friendly staff and nice ambiance. Thank you!
