Established in 2014 and reopened in 2022 with a reimagined interior, seasonal menu, and unique cocktail program, Causwells is a neighborhood American bistro rooted in the northern California style of cooking. Chef Adam Rosenblum draws from his diverse background to create a comforting menu that spotlights local, seasonal ingredients influenced by classic American dishes, European inspiration, and the American South. The cocktail menu from Beverage Director and Managing Partner Elmer Mejicanos redefines the American bistro, pulling inspiration from reimagined classics to seasonal offerings, to tableside experiences. Stop by Causwells’ new art deco-inspired space to enjoy a deliciously unique cocktail and smash-style Americana Cheeseburger – some say it’s the best in the country!

Causwells does it right. They care, they are informed, they are professional and super fun! The food is outstanding. We always have a great time at Causwells! The drinks are fantastic too!

Paid $60 for 2 drinks and a small side of brussel sprouts. Too pricey considering there was nothing special about the food/experience. Do not recommend.

Nice outside lunch on a sunny day. Service was very good. Food good: I had the Cesar with grilled chicken and my friend had the burger, which he said was fine — not disappointing but he was hoping for more. Will be back.

It is always fun to eat at Causewells. The chicken sandwich is very good and Rudy, our server, was very nice and professional.

We had the Americana Burger and the Fancy Pants burger. Very tasty. Very juicy. Our server was attentive, offering us extra paper napkins just as we realized we needed them. The meal was accompanied by a beer and N/A Aperitif Spritz, making it most enjoyable. The tables where we were seated were very close together, so be prepared to hear all about whatever your fellow diners are discussing. We enjoyed our evening.

Absolutely amazing. The bread and sauce at happy hour was simply delicious. Burgers (including my plant based one) were delicious. Fabulous service. BRAVO!

Generally fine food, but nothing to write home about. Burger was average and slightly overdone. The "filthy" martini wasn't event close to filthy and barely had any olive juice in it. Wouldn't rush back.
