It was truly a great experience for me and my girlfriend. The meat pizza was fabulous and pasta was light and creamy, exactly what we love! The server was very polite and the place had a calm vibe. Definitely recommend this!

We were back at Cellar Door after being there several times in the last few years. But things have declined - the food remains good, but the ambience is lost, the music could barely be heard, the tables and cutlery and dishware look old and everything has sort of declined in general. Our server was nice, but with only 4 tables being seated while we were there, yhe service could have been better. Sadly, it looks like the new ownership have lost the charm that Cellar Door used to have as a sit-down restaurant. Maybe they do good business as a take-out restaurant, because I saw several delivery people coming in to pick up meals while we were there, and the food is good.

Menu was not at all what was on website. No calamari, arancini for appetizer No salmon. For a bottle of pino Grigio $68. At lcbo $16.95 quite the mark up. Meals were good. Chairs could have been at the table we were at low and a bit wobbly. Waitress was constantly sniffing not sure if allergies or what but a bit concerning since serving food. She was however very pleasant constantly apologizing for inconsistencies however did not offer any compensation for this

We were seated at back of the restaurant with minimum lighting. Felt that we not part of the overall restaurant experience. Waiter did not ask if wanted any drinks? A couple to the right of us stated that they were waiting over 20 mins for a waiter, then after a few more minutes, they left the restaurant. We were not impressed! I ordered the calcio and pepe pasta which was good, however, my wife and son both ordered the pasta with meat sauce. This pasta dish was so strong with a black pepper taste, that both my wife and son could not finish their plate, managing less than half. Called over waiter and explained the situation, and was nice enough to offer a new pasta dish, but we said no, and also removed these dishes from our bill. It appeared that you were short staffed, but even the staff that was there, was not very attentive? We had to ask for the water bottle since it was not offered when arrived?

Our server (who said he was only 2 weeks on the job) was fantastic! He was the only front of house person on & despite having to handle 4 larger groups by himself, the service was great. We had a pepperoni pizza, mushroom ravioli & a chicken pasta dish and they were all great!
