Our reservation was for two people on New Year's Eve; we arrived about 10 minutes early and were seated immediately. We were not informed beforehand that we could only order from a reduced or prix fixe menu. This isn't a big deal, but I was called twice before the reservation to confirm, and they could have advised me of this at either point beforehand.
Both of us ordered a four-course prix fixe meal with four wine pairings (one per course). Our first and second courses came before we even received our first glass of wine. The entree then came out while we still had not finished the first two courses (and had not finished the first glass of wine). Because we were still eating the other courses, our entree was cold by the time we could reasonably eat it. We asked the waiter if he could just bring us the entree wine pairing since they never brought the second pairing with our soup/salad. We also said after we receive that, we would like to eat our entrees, sit without dessert, and just drink what was supposed to be our second glass, and then when we're done with all of that we'd have the dessert & final wine. He repeated that back to us. So then we sat for about 45 minutes without being checked on; finally, the waiter came back and stacked our empty water glasses to take them away. We had to ask if we could have them refilled.
After sitting even longer, he brought the final wine... but no dessert. We waited approximately 15 minutes for that. All in, for two diners, we spent two hours there. The first three courses arriving within 10 minutes of each other, and then extensive waiting on the back half. We noticed one couple complained and then got up & left.
The food taste and quality were good, but it just seemed as though no one had any idea how to operate that night. It's also worth mentioning that there were several empty tables for the duration of our visit, so they were not fully booked. I'm quite disappointed in our experience.
