   Our steak was cold. The steak was not good quality, somewhat gristly. Waited 20 minutes for dessert. Tried the restaurant for downtown dining week, wouldn't go back.

   Reserved a table for downtown dining week over 7 days ago. When we arrived our table was right beside the door in a dark corner. We refused it and aftermath discussion we got moved inside to a much better table. The value and choices for dining week was very good, appetizers and deserts were delicious. However mains were lackluster. Bbq chicken was too salty, steak was paper thin and tough, salmon was dry. Because of a concert server forgot about us and we sat for a long time between courses to order the next course. Oilers game kept us occupied and we were comfortable thanks to a better table. Staff was very friendly.

   To start with we made a reservation and there was not a table for us (we requested a low table as we had seniors with us) Finally got a table but was not a low table for all guests. Slow on the service to start. we came and tried their menu for the Downton dining week. the 4 people that had the steak dish were not cooked to what was wanted and or they mixed the steaks up and never got plated correctly and were all cold. the fifth meal was approx. 8 minutes later. we complained about the steaks and got a i will talk to the kitchen. nothing ever said anything about the kitchen issue. At the end of our meal the server came out with a small little dessert for everyone to take home. Manager never came by to explain or even just say sorry. it was not worth the money we ended up paying for the dinners.

   Hi Neil, Thank you for checking us out for Downtown Dining Week! This is such a wonderful time of year, as we get to show our stuff to many first timers taking advantage of the incredible promotion organized by the Edmonton Downtown Business Association to benefit local Downtown businesses. I'm very disappointed to hear that we did not meet our standards or your expectations when you visited our Downtown location yesterday. It sounds like we missed the mark on the food, service, and communication aspect; for which I am deeply sorry.    We came for the valentines deal. There was nothing in the decore to suggest it was Valentine’s Day not even a heart cut out anywhere . My steak and veggies were cold and my Partners rice was dry like sand. There was so much ice in our drinks that they were watered down. Very disappointed , I’ve enjoyed food here in the past. The music was loud and again not in theme of day.

   We went for a birthday supper and our waitress was amazing. Service and food was all what we expected and more. They catered to our every need.

   We met a friend out for brunch at Central. The area cordoned off for brunch seemed to be busy, as most of the tables were full. We all had good meals, however the only down side was the lack of wait staff. There was only one gentleman taking orders, and clearing/cleaning tables. He was very gracious, apologizing for any waits we experienced. Luckily we were in no rush, so the delays in getting our coffees/refills, drinks was not a big deal.

    Our Server was very attentive and timely in taking our order, keeping our refreshments topped up and leaving us to our conversations, and then came by when we needed to go and handled our payments efficiently. Sandwiches were excellent.
