Centrolina is an Italian restaurant and market, locally owned and operated by Chef Amy Brandwein, set in Washington’s CityCenterDC development. The Osteria showcases a seasonally driven menu of authentic and innovative Italian dishes offered for lunch and dinner. Chef Brandwein's menu is inspired from the seasons, Italian regionality and the wide variety of Chef curated product in the adjoining market.

The market showcases a selection of imported Italian specialty items along with locally sourced meat, sustainable fish, and produce from local farms. The Centrolina kitchen produces daily hand crafted fresh pasta and sauces, antipasti and entrees available for takeaway.

    Experience Chef Amy Brandwein's new 8-course dinner tasting menu with optional wine pairing in Centrolina's private Chef's Salon. Chef Amy's menu celebrates her mantra, “simple is exquisite," showcasing the seasonal bounty of the Mid-Atlantic region and the versatility, grace, and overall delicacy of Italian cuisine. Each dish weaves Italian and global cuisine, creating an interesting dialogue of food (and wine) inspired by specific ingredients, concepts, and experiences. The tasting menu changes weekly and is available on most Fridays at 7pm. Limited seating is available. Dinner is $150/person, with an optional wine pairing for $125/person. Please note we can typically accommodate alterations for most allergies, preferences, and dietary restrictions. However, all dietary restrictions should be noted at least 5 days in advance to allow our culinary team time to source ingredients and prepare appropriate options.     Truly wonderful experience. Our server Ali was beyond amazing and attentive, and proactive - helped with allergies, and made our dinner extra special with his attention to detail, excellent service and kindness. Rafael was delightful and we enjoyed great Sicilian wine that paired wonderfully with our meal. Quality food, mouthful of flavor and exciting combinations. Will definitely return next time we're in town. Thank you both for a wonderful evening to celebrate a birthday !♡

    —Clearly one of the iconic DC ristoranti, Italian o un altro! Favoloso tutti. Amy was gracious as always and Thomas made superb recommendations of Amy’s best—anatra with secret sauce of liquori; melanzana con sauce di beet e ciccolatto.; fresca pesce. —a true delight with several bicchieri di vini by Tomaso. Ci vediamo a presto. Grazie mille tutti.

    I come to Centrolina every visit to DC. An old friend met me at the bar and we had Negroni Sbagliato and Scotch. The carciofi and seppie were favoloso. I took Thomas ‘ recommendation on the black cod and it was memorable. A Nonino digestivo ended the evening with some shared gelati and espresso. Life is good even when chaos rages a fuori. Stefano.
