Centrolina is an Italian restaurant and market, locally owned and operated by Chef Amy Brandwein, set in Washington’s CityCenterDC development. The Osteria showcases a seasonally driven menu of authentic and innovative Italian dishes offered for lunch and dinner. Chef Brandwein's menu is inspired from the seasons, Italian regionality and the wide variety of Chef curated product in the adjoining market.

The market showcases a selection of imported Italian specialty items along with locally sourced meat, sustainable fish, and produce from local farms. The Centrolina kitchen produces daily hand crafted fresh pasta and sauces, antipasti and entrees available for takeaway.

Chef Amy's menu celebrates her mantra, “simple is exquisite," showcasing the seasonal bounty of the Mid-Atlantic region and the versatility, grace, and overall delicacy of Italian cuisine. Each dish weaves Italian and global cuisine, creating an interesting dialogue of food (and wine) inspired by specific ingredients, concepts, and experiences. The tasting menu changes weekly and is available on most Thursday and Friday at 7pm. Limited seating is available. Dinner is $175/person, with an optional wine pairing for $125/person. Please note we can typically accommodate alterations for most allergies, preferences, and dietary restrictions. However, all dietary restrictions should be noted at least 5 days in advance to allow our culinary team time to source ingredients and prepare appropriate options.     This is one of DC's best restaurants. The menu is consistently creative, well executed, and varied, and the use of quality ingredients is constant and apparent.

    Wonderful food! We went for lunch. We had the chicken, flounder, tortellini, and sea bass. Also had starter salads. We all raved about our meals. Server was very friendly and attentive.

    Amazing. Loved the antipasti, esp the yellowtail. The pastas were complex and delicious (although I thought reginette was a long wavy shape, not a stuffed pasta). We split the merluzzo with mushrooms, but I could have eaten a whole order of that flavor combo by myself! Will def go back, but prices are steep, so not something I would do every month!

    I had the amberjack/yellowtail, she had the duck breast. Both were fabulous, and the wine was great too. We’re definitely going back.

    This is my second time at Centrolina but my first for dinner service and everything was perfect! My steak was flavorful and cooked to perfection! The bread is so soft! My lemon drop was delicious! I brought my mom with me and she is a picky eater but she got the fettuccine with the white bolognese and she raved about it all night! Said it was the best pasta she’s ever had! Service was warm and seamless! The dessert was the cherry on top! My mom was speechless from the pineapple carrot cat dessert! My chocolate cake with a poached pear was literally delectable! Beautiful experience!

    Service was good but kitchen was extremely slow. Food was mixed. Octopus was seasoned well and cooked properly but did not have any taste as octopus. Pasta with fried oysters came with only 2 oysters in it. Unbelievably skimpy. Not sure whether we will go back.

    The pasta that I ordered was too spicy -too much pepper and they could not make it to order. Desserts were yummy.
