Cha Ching is an Asian fusion concept restaurant where customer enjoys variety of Asian dishes on a table with Asian spiced drinks and cocktail for an affordable per dinner and lunch.
Synonymous with luck in Chinese culture, Cha Ching is a project three years in the making, from Owner & Head Chef Ken Leung.
From working in Hong Kong’s Michelin Star St George Restaurant in 2012 to experience in kitchens across Melbourne’s elite food scene, Ken’s hospitality experience spans over 15 years.
The result? Cha Ching’s menu is an homage to Asian cuisine, emboldened by the multiculturalism of Melbourne.

Service was quite poor, had to request food to be checked multiple times, often felt forgotten about. Portion sizes were not half as expected given the price of the food. Overall quite disappointed with the experience

I arrived for Happy Hour drinks and appetizers. Immediately I was disappointed because they had run out of oysters at lunch, the only Happy Hour food item. The manager agreed to substitute dumplings for oysters and I was happy. The drinks are spectacular and the main reason to go here. I got to watch the bartenders work up close, making Purple Rains, Cha Ching Me Ups, Under the Clouds, and other creative and artistic cocktails. The food was disappointing. The dumplings were bland and the tofu was too spicy. (I don't like spicy food) it was nothing but a block of soft tofu in soy sauce.

Great find and amazing restaurant food and make sure you order a cocktail for a fun experience. Noisy / vibrant place, not for romantic quiet meals. Staff very friendly, will be back.

Atmosphere was good considering the small dining space, Waiters and staff were great and very attentive, food was underwhelming sadly with chewy steak, poor oysters and a very small dessert portion

SMALL BUT IMPACTFUL let me just start by saving this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had . Super chilled atmosphere , and staff were attentive and friendly . Now the food , the food was outstanding ! We got for starters the crispy pork bao buns and the Korean fried chicken and both were amazing . For mains we got the five spiced crispy pork belly and black truffle fried rice + rotie with curry sauce . Out sending all three dishes . If you come here try these dishes ! Can’t wait to come back
